Tobias POV
Its been 2 weeks since I lost my sweet Tris. I failed to protect her. The cops found a body near the highway to her college. Who would wanna kill her? She is gone. Taken away from me. This is what I feared.
Mrs. Prior and Evelyn sit near her potrait, weeping. We're in the Prior's for now. Just for support. Mr. Prior and Marcus are in the couch in the other side of the room. Holding onto a picture of her. I am going through the pictures of us together in my phone. I don't realise the fact that I am crying until the tears drop onto my phone screen. I want her back so much.
Suddenly, the door bursts open and a cop steps in.
Mr. Prior goes to acknowledge him.
"I have news regarding your daughter." He says and that is when I stand up. I approach them to listen. Everyone's eyes are on them.
"What is it?" I ask. We had a funeral for her 2 days ago. What could it be now?
"We are beginning to think that she isn't really dead." He says and my heart flutters.
"What?!" Mr. Prior says, taken aback.
"Yes. All the evidence we found regrading her death seems fake. Even the DNA." The cop says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yes, so there are still chances that she might be alive." The cop replies.
I gotta go get her back.
