Chapter 6

*Hatty's POV*
I cleared my throat and said: "Hm~ Where is Marth??? Is he... Over here?!" I peeked over a bush and sighed.
The bushes near me rustled and I asked: "... Marthhhhh????"
I waited a little and when I went near it a dear burst out from it's leaves and I fell over in surprise!

My maid ran over to me and said: "Princess! Princess! What happened to you?! You should stop coming into these woods! It's very unsafe here!... *gasp* Don't tell me you have been seeing that boy again..?!"
She grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I looked down and sulked.

Why does she have to be so mean to Marth?

She pulled me forcefully and said: "Come on! Let's go back!"

I pulled back and shouted: "No! I'm gonna go make my own choices! You can't boss me around every time!!!"
I ran away and as I ran deeper into the woods I heard my maid calling my name.

*huff huff* why do they keep bringing me to that stupid lessons and parties?! I just wanna go and have some fun a little!

I shouted: "Marth?! Marthhhh!!!!"
No answer.
My stomach grumbled. Aww... I wish that stupid Marth would just come out and play with me! I'm hungry.. I took an apple out of my small little bag and started to bite on some.
The bushes behind me started to rustle and in shock, I turned around!

W-what was that? Is it..!

I asked: "Marth..? Are you in there..???" I took a few steps forward slowly and was about to peek.

I slowly peeked over and sighed, there was nothing there.

Suddenly, a mysterious voice called out, a girl's voice! One like a snob's.
"My my! Well, if it isn't my dear little noble friend~"

I turned around startled and was about to drop my apple but was too hungry so I decided to keep it.

She continued: "Are you looking for that boy of yours? Who was it..? Mary? What a girlish name! You might as well stop looking for that poor thief~"

How dare she! I growled: "It's Marth! And what do you know about him?!"

She giggled and said: "Well... I do know that he's in..." She stopped and looked at me with her bright glowing green colored eyes and continued: "Your lovely castle~" she grinned a creepy smile with teeth that looked sharp! She's... A karzak! One which lives in these cursed woods! One of the strongest from the female karzaks!

I asked surprised: "Castle? Why in my castle?! What's going on?!"

She sighed and flapped her wings, in a second she was already high up in the air, she shouted: "Maybe you would want to check on him before he.. Dies!!! *giggle giggle giggle* well, see you red eyes! *GIGGLE GIGGLE*"

I dropped my apple in shock.
I shouted: "WAIT!!!" But she was long gone..
I didn't have anymore time to waste! I started to run as fast as I can! My legs tired! But I didn't care! What does she mean by die?! No! I can't lose Marth!!! Not him! Not him!!! I stopped in front of the castle gasping for breath, feet are hot like fire, sweat trickled down my whole body!

A guard asked: "Mistress, what are you doing here at this time..? You're going to miss the execution at this rate."

I glared at him and murmured: "...He's....not guilty..."

He went closer to me and asked politely: "pardon me..?"

I shouted while my eyes was wet with tears: "HE'S NOT GUILTY!!!"
I pushed him away and ran again, to the execution chambers! Tears was rolling down my cheeks and I brushed them away with my hands.

There was a lot of people there, watching Marth being forced to walk towards a man with a cloak holding an axe tightly.
His head was pushed onto the piece of wood for supporting the executioner to chop.. His head off!

The executioner lifted his axe! About to bring the axe down!

I pushed the people out of my way and screamed as loudly as I can: "STOP!!!"
My voice echoed throughout the room.

Hi guys!!!! Sorry for not updating sooner! I know! I know what your thinking! I made you wait for a long time! There was exams and I had to do this project so I just felt tired.. So I'm really sorry! I hope I can start making the stories faster again now and well, make you wait faster!
