New apartment

Katie's pov
I got off the train and made my to the taxi I called to take me to my new apartment when I got there I saw a really big building my apartment was all the way at the top so I was really hoping there was a elevator. I went inside the building luckily I saw a elevator so I went in the elevator and pressed top floor button. When I got there, there with corridor with six floors. I was looking room 103 "101....102....ah 103 here it is" I said I got my door key out my bag and unlocked the door. When I got inside I was in shock the place was HUGE I think it was bigger then my house yeah I was being abit over the top there but still it was huge "omg" I Said " I guess your the new neighbour then" I heard a voice say I turned around to see a girl with blonde hair say she looked about the same age as me. "Yeah my name Katie" I said to her holding my hand out to shake her hand " lily" she said shaking my hand. " it's nice to meet you lily" I said "you too so where you from" lily said " I'm from wales" I said " wow wales what you doing all the way here then" she says " I came here to open my own cafe it's been my dream since I was 14" I said " you own cafe huh well I having abit of trouble finding a job do you think I can work at your cafe" she says " sure i could use help starting the cafe" I said " thanks that means a lot to me" she says " your welcome" while looking out the window. I saw the moving truck arriving " that's my moving truck I better go help them" I says making my way to the door " do you need help" lily says " yes please that was help me a lot" I said " ok let's go "we made our way to the elevator.
Lily's pov
Katie's seems to be such a nice girl I glad she came because I finally found a friend it's been lonely since I moves here and I haven't met the other neighbours yet and it's been 2 YEARS I don't know why I haven't met them it's because they never came outside there door when I go out any way I went outside with Katie to help her with her staff and put in her apartment.
Katie's pov
Me and lily finally finished unpacking all my staff and the delivery men kindly put my furniture it my apartment for me it finally felt like home. I started putting my pictures up when I came across that really touched my heart it was a picture of my mum I looked at it for a while lily came over by my side " it's that your mum? " she asked I nodded" she died when i was 11" I said water started coming to my eyes  " Katie I'm so sorry I shouldn't of asked" she said and hugged me " it's ok I think you should know" I said " if you ever need to talk about it you can come to me you know that right" she said " thanks lily" I said we hugged " do you know what I feel like we best friends already" she says " well we can be if you want" I said " really?" Lily asked I nodded " thanks Katie" she says we hugged. " well it's getting late I better leave So you can get some sleep" she says " ok I see you tomorrow" I said walking with her to the door " see you tomorrow bye" she says " bye" I say she shuts her door I shut mine I decided to call my dad.
Phone call:
Me: hi dad
Dad: hi sweetheart did you make it safe
Me: yes dad I did
Dad: what your apartment like
Me: dad it's huge also I made a friend named lily she going to work at with me at the cafe
Dad: that's great sweetheart already you won't be lonely well I let you get some sleep now night love you
Me: night dad love you too
I ended the phone call. Before I went to bed I decided have a hot chocolate. When I drank it I went upstairs I put my pyjamas on , brushed my teeth and brushed my hair I then got into bed looking up at the ceiling thinking about the day I had when I finally drifted off to sleep.
