Chapter 3

Luke's POV

I took a deep, shaking breath before deciding to just speak my mind. "We've been best friends for as long as I can remember Michael. I would do absolutely anything for you. You mean the world to me and I hate knowing that you sometimes just aren't okay but I am going to spend the rest of my life making you happy, if you'll let me. I love you Mikey. I'm in love with you and I want to be able to call you mine." I admitted, looking her in the eyes and holding her hand tightly in mine.

Michael's POV

I froze upon hearing Luke's words? He loves me?! Oh my God. After spending almost 2 years trying to bury my feelings for him, I realised it was completely unnecessary. He felt the same way. I felt myself blush as I threw my arms around him, pulling him close. "I love you too" I whispered, pressing a small kiss to his neck. "I love you so so much." I was so happy. No words could even explain what I was feeling. Luke smiled happily at me, letting out a sigh of what I assume was relief considering he had been so nervous. I pulled away slightly, looking him in the eyes, occasionally glancing down at his lips. I wanted to kiss him but I was nervous to say the least.
"Can I kiss you?" He whispered, licking his lips.
"Yes please"
I closed my eyes, slowly moving closer to him. My heart began to race as I felt Luke's soft, warm lips press against mine tenderly. This was everything I had ever wanted. It was beautiful. The emotions I felt while kissing Luke were indescribable. It was just pure bliss. I eagerly opened my mouth slightly, allowing his tongue to slip in, almost moaning at the satisfaction I felt. I pressed myself even closer to him, moving from beside him to his lap, straddling him. "Mmm" He hummed against my lips, making me smile slightly, finally pulling away and pressing my forehead against his.
"I love you so much, baby girl" He whispered, the pet name making my heart ache.
"I love you too, Lukey."
