POV Keira

The plane ride wasn't as boring as I expected it to be, Lana and Troy made sure of that with their constant bickering and silly jokes. Troy isn't as bad at all I thought he was going to be like , like one of those boyfriends that once there with their girlfriend, it's just them no one else.

I've grown closer to Lana it's like we are sisters separated at birth that have finally met. I did does off once in a while on the plane ride but only to wake up at hear bits and pieces of conversation.

"........could you really be her guardian" I heard Troy say

"Yes, look at my hand and look at hers'" said Lana sounding proud but also laced with a bit of excitement

I don't open my eyes as they talk about being guardians and Everlor, just listen to their voices and just as soon as I was awake, I was asleep just as fast.

".......I'll have an orange juice with that, please" I hear Cora say before resuming back to her conversation with Robert.

I open my eyes and look out the window, it's the early morning the sun even rises. I then hear some shuffling as I turn my head to look for Lana I try to rub the sleep from my eyes.

"Hay, darling, want a drink?" asked Robert

"Uhm, sure.......can I have a Cranberry juice" I asked the lady, not all airlines have cranberry juice, which is my favorite drink aside from coffee.

"Here ya go, mam" said the lady with an Irish accent and wide beaming smile, I noticed she had a tattoo on her neck of a black wolf with red eyes

"Thanks, if you don't mine me asking but why did you get a tattoo of a wolf "I said fantasied about it's incredibly detail

"Its da mark of me husband" she replied, blushing.

"His a tattoo artist?" I asked curious

"You could say dat" she said as she bowed her head at left.

That's when I saw them Lana and Troy all cuddled up on the two seater, they look at piece with one another.

As I watched them, Cora mad her way over to me with her "orange juice" it look more like red wine mixed with the pulp of an orange.

"Don't worry, one day you to will find your special someone" she said looking at Lana and Troy.

I laugh bitterly "No one will ever love someone like me, someone how even drove her family into leaving her" I said as the emotional pain pushes harder onto my heart.

"That's not true and plus your anima gemella will love you fearlessly, people come and go but the person your meant to spend the rest of your life with will never leave you not even in death." Said Cora with such truth and certainty I almost believed that I to would one day find my anima gemella, almost.

"What does it mean?" I asked trying to take the attention off the affairs of my heart

"What? Anima gemella?" she said sounding really Italian, almost like my mysterious dream guy but her voice doesn't give me the chills of pleasure like his does " it means Soul Mate"

"That stuff isn't real, it's all take story's that parents tell their children 'love at first sight' isn't real or 'true loves first kiss' it's all just fictional" I said casually

"What is it that you're afraid of Keira? Love or being left again" Cora asked in a soothing voice.

I look at her but I saw no wickedness in her eyes and hears not malice in her voice, she look at me as if trying to fix my broken heart "Being left again" I whisper as turn to watch the sea turn to land.

"We are nearly there just another hour before we descend to realm of Everlor, where we live, our home and the new life that awaits you" I think I heard Cora say before she left to answer her phone.

I've been of this plane for nearly a day and 2 hours, my legs are cramping from the lack of physical exercise and my heart is racing with eagerness as we land in Everlor. Lana showed me the house I'll be staying in, yes that's was I said she was able to show me the house of should I say castle, in which I shall be staying.

"You can't be serious how rich are the Lockwood's" I gasp at the beauty of their home

It's a long story, was all Lana said as we exited the plane, I walked through the terminal and was greeted by men with platinum blonde hair that were ever masculine.

I turn to give Lana the look of 'what the heck' buy all I got was a smile as she ran to a man with platinum blonde hair but he was older looking, wiser and was certainly the most respected because as he walked through the 20 or so men they all turned there necks to him as a sign of..........submission

As Lana reached him screeching 'dad' he gave her a big bear hug, twirling her around giving a tremendously laugh. I smile at their relationship, feeling a bit odd having given my history with family.

I heard Troy spring a very threating growl toward Lana's father, I turn to look at him but he moved so fast I didn't even have time to comprehend what was happening because before you know it the men with platinum blond hear are all crouched into fighting position snarling at Troy but he shows no fear .

"It's okay boys" I hear Lana say with composure, but her eyes flicker from me to the boys then to her boyfriend. I see her lips move but I can hear nothing, however everyone else seems to hear because afterwards we are leaving the airport in one of the 3 black land rovers parked outside.

"What was that about?" I say looking at Lana with judgement, I never really would have expected her to be such a born Leader

"Ah, well, my father is the leader of the army here- if I can put it that way" she said nervously, I look at her wondering why she is nervous about telling me these things "and the guys here listen to me"

"That's so cool, but I think Troy need to see a doctor" I say carefulness

"Why?" she said looking out the window

"That throat thing isn't good, I mean it sounds like......growling" I say worried for Troy

What surprised me was that Lana, Troy and The Lockwood's all just burst out laughing at some private joke as the tension that was building in the car dissipated, I laughed with them but didn't quite understand the joke.

The road to the castle was long but was filled with friendly chatter.
