When I got home I dropped my stuff before my aunt comes home in like ten minutes! I spent so much time out because of the itching! I don't even know why I am not telling her what's happening, eh, I don't feel like it. I look on her Shelf for an empty space on the book shelf but only the bottom was, and she'll obviously notice. Oh! Look a book that looks the same let me pull that out and put that on the bottom. Ah... It's kind of hard to pull out... What the heck? What did she put on this Gorilla Glue?! Oh my God! Finally! Whoa... Ow! I dropped to the floor but at least I got the book out... Let me just grab my --- What the hell is happening!? The shelves are moving apart! This is mind boggling! It’s a small hall... Hmm let me go inside. The hall's pretty short and tiny, oh well isn't this a big room. Too... Big... This is bigger than my house! There isn't even a house connected with my house! This is like a whole new room! I think this is a Tardis nah, Doctor Who isn't a real thing on Earth! Plus, it's a British show and we are in America... more specifically, New York!
My aunt! She's coming! I didn't even have enough time to look around unfair! I run out and try to close the shelves but it won’t budge! I think quickly, and as fast as a lion I put my book in. Nothing happens! I pull out mine and put the book that's supposed to be in, it quickly shuts with surprisingly no noise! Well isn't that a pleasure. Does Aunt Sarah even know about the humungous house? I think she does, she comes in and talks to me
"Hi sweetheart! How's school?" She says,
"same old crap, people are annoying and you know heh..." I reply nervously
"Why are you so sweaty? You look like you were running from an active volcano!" She laughs like normal,
"but seriously, why?" she replies
"Oh, you know hot day, heavy jacket, and heavy bag."
Aunt Sarah looks at me like she knows I'm lying
"mmmhmm. What's that book you've got - yes! You've finally got it! I was going to ask you but I was going to wait a little longer to ask you if you got any weird present or something."
"Yeah I got it, but I don't think it's the one you think it is... It's all about Warlocks, and all the fantasy crap like in Skyrim."
"Don't open it until your birthday! Well I need to leave there's pasta in the fridge cook it up. Don't open the door for anyone okay? I have the keys so don't worry."
"Yes 'mom'." I say as I roll my eyes.
"Oh, shut up, Oh yeah I have news for you I'll tell you it when I come back."
After she leaves, I use all my power to take the book out but it's soft and smooth to take out like someone covered it in butter. I open it and I walk through the well lit brick hall, and the place is huge it’s like you can't imagine such a thing. There's alchemy stations, and enchanting stations, and so many books, and cauldrons -- Oh my God, my aunt's a Witch... I'm a Witch! Wait no, Warlock!
I'm a Warlock! Like the spells! Oh my god! What?! This is amazing! Oh I've never been so excited for my birthday! I want to read the book now! This is amazing! Where are the wands? Hmm, there aren’t any wands. Is that how things work here? Ooo! Something caught my eye, it’s a door. Not like the doors all over the place it’s a big, wide, and wooden door in the middle and on the top it has a sign that says "Land of the 'Others''" Hmm, I turn the knob but I'm pushed back and a fog of smoke comes up "Covered with a spell."
"Crap!" I whisper.
I hear my aunt again, are you serious. I sprint back to the room as fast I could as I hear the keys jingle, but this time I'm caught. I can't tell but her face if she's mad, happy, excited, or anything.
