It was now the next day, typically known as the day after I had the best night of my life. I still couldn't believe that I Sophia Daniels had met the one boy I had dreamed off meeting since my freshmen year in high school. Now I was seventeen about to be a high school graduate soon and I had met the love of my life. Okay, so technically he wasn't mine but I can still dream, right? How I was able to pull last night off and not let my parents know? I had no idea, but it was honestly so worth it.
Now, I was in the process of finding an outfit to wear to the coffee shop. Only as I was deciding I heard a knock at my door.
"Come in!" I called.
"So Sophia how was the party last night?" My mom asked.
"It was really great mom thanks for making me go. I'm actually meeting a boy at the coffee shop, is it all right if I go?" I asked.
"Oh my goodness, my little girl has her first date!" My mom said excitedly while she wrapped me into a bear hug.
"Mother, I can't breathe! It's not really a date. He's a little new to the neighborhood so I'm going to show him around."
As my mom let me go she sighed and looked over at all the clothes that were lying on top of my bed from trying stuff on.
"Well, all right. Have fun and you can just clean this stuff up when you get back." My mom said motioning to the pile of clothing on the bed.
I smiled before rushing over to her and giving her a hug, "Thank you mom. I will probably be gone until later this afternoon. But I'll be back before curfew."
She nodded before hugging me back, "All right dear. I'll leave you to getting changed."
Once she left the room I squealed quietly to myself as I started to go through outfits again. After about an hour and a half I finally found the perfect one. I then went into the bathroom to put on some make-up. I never liked to put on a lot because I for one felt like I was just wearing a mask. So, I would always just do my eyes and put a lip gloss on and be done with it. This is exactly what I did and when that was finished I grabbed my car keys and my purse and told my mom that I would be heading out.
About twenty minutes later I arrived at the little coffee shop that I told Elijah about. I walked inside and looked around to see if he was here yet. Turns out I was a little early; thank goodness he hadn't arrived yet. I walked to the cash register and ordered myself a hot chocolate. One of the best items they had on the menu in my opinion. After I had my order I walked over and found myself a place to sit down as I waited for Elijah to show up.
Out of nowhere the room just went dark. I lifted up my hands only to grab a pair of someone else's? Grinning, I removed the hands that were in front of my eyes and turned around to see Elijah standing there with a smile on his face.
"Y-you came." I said.
"Why yes I did. I couldn't leave here without getting to know you a little more."
"You want to get to know me?"
"I do, I know we just met and all but I'm actually really glad that you bumped into me twice at my concert last night." Elijah told her.
I shook my head when he said that and buried my face in my hands. God that was embarrassing, running into him on purpose yet; I still couldn't believe that Elijah wanted to get to know me. It didn't make any sense to me at all to be honest. Soon, I felt Elijah place his hands over my own to get me to take them off my face and he was smiling at me.
