Guyssss, OMB! This is my first short story. I hope y'all like it.

Alex felt as if she can't breathe as tears swelled in her eyes. She looked around the white pale room she knows so well. She has been in this room way too many times. She opened the window to feel the breeze but she felt nothing. She was numb from the pain in her heart. Her husband has cancer. He's been fighting it since he was 7 years old. The doctor just told her that he won't survive this battle again. He only has an hour left before he dies. He was asleep. Alex slowly turned on her heel and walked across the whiter, shiny floor. It was quiet so all you heard was her feet, the machine, and Justin's shallow breathing.
She sat on the chair next to his bed and studied his face. His once beautiful and cheerful face is now pale and broken. She couldn't hold it in anymore as she let out a weep. She started to sob, thinking of how her life would be without Justin. Justin woke up to the sounds of Alex's sobs.
"Alex, Alex. Please stop crying." Justin urged her.
"How can I? I'm going to lose you forever." She cried.
"Come here," He moved over in the white hospital bed and opened his arms. Alex sniffled and went into his arms. Her head laid on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her. "You will never lose me, you hear?" He ran his finger through her hair. "We'll be together again."
"But—," She started.
"No, not as long as you love me. I will always be in here." He pointed to her chest. "In your heart."
"I will always love you, Justin." She looked up at him.
"Do you remember that day at the beach?" Justin kissed her head and gathered her in his arms.
"Do I? I remember it like it was yesterday."
It was a beautiful day at the beach. The sun was beginning to set at the horizon. Alex had her slippers in one hand and her husband's hand in the other. She felt the warm, wet sand between her toes as they walked close to the shore. If you see them that say you would think they were the perfect 'it' couple. But they're anything but that. Her husband has cancer, he's had it since he was 7 years old. He started dating Alex when he turned 13. They got married very young, 18 years old. They loved each other and know they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together so why wait? They may not have another time to do it. Now they've been married for 6 years. Their love have grown even stronger.
"Justin!" Alex squealed as she was picked up and placed on his shoulder. "Put me down!" She laughed.
"Say that you love me." He tickled her feet.
"Never."
"Never Say Never. Now say it."
"No." She laughed.
"Okay, then." He walked into the water, reaching his hips.
"No, no! I'm sorry! Don't drop me!" She laughed, hitting his back softly.
"Say it!" He pretended to drop her and she screamed.
"Okay, okay! I love you, Justin." She held onto him.
