"So, Naomi, please explain in full detail, why are you a werewolf" Seiko looked at Naomi, who was wearing (once again) some of Seiko's spare sleepwear, while sipping a mug of hot chocolate Seiko had made for her.

Naomi sighed as she brought the cup away from her lips. She sat comfortably on Seiko's bed, while Seiko was leaning against the wall in front of her, looking straight at the girl.

"It's a long story-"

"I'm in the mood for a long story"

Naomi winced as Seiko cut her off, she was serious about this. Her disappearance must've been a huge impact on her, Naomi had thought that all the years she was gone, but didn't know it was this bad.

Naomi took a deep breath and looked Seiko straight in the eye. "When that werewolf took me away, it didn't kill me, instead, it raised me, and I soon got the ability to turn into one of them" Naomi explained. Seiko had an emotionless expression, who stood unmoving against the wall, arms folded across her chest.

She continued. "Soon enough, I came across another pack of werewolves, who were also once human like me" Naomi looked at the mug in her hands. Seiko frowned. "Were those the ones who attacked me?" She asked the werewolf. Naomi nodded slowly but continued anyway.

"I stayed with them for awhile, but when I heard we were coming back here, I couldn't believe it..." Naomi sniffled, getting emotional. Seiko sadly frowned at her, but didn't move a muscle.

Naomi looked back up at Seiko with glassy eyes. "I was so happy, because I knew, I knew I could see you again..." She wiped her eyes and sniffed.

Seiko cringed and closed her eyes tightly, arms falling to her sides while her fists clenched. "Then why didn't you come visit me once? At least once, Naomi, to let me know your alive, just once, and I could've been happy" A tear rolled down Seiko's cheek.

Naomi looked down at the floor again. "I'm sorry, I would if I could of, but I couldn't, I couldn't leave my pack, it was forbidden" Naomi said slowly, shifting her feet nervously.

Seiko sighed deeply, before standing up straight and pushing off the wall. "Anyway, you also have to explain why those guys attacked me, yeah, I know, werewolves and vampires have bad blood, but that can't be the only reason" Seiko said, sitting next to Naomi on the bed.

Naomi closed her eyes and puffed out hot air. "They found out I was friends with you, a vampire, and so they kicked me out of the pack, and that's why you found me beat up on your doorstep. Then they made you think I sent you out into the woods to talk, when really, they tied me up and went out to kill you." Naomi explained, grasping ahold of Seiko's hand and giving it a squeeze.

Seiko sighed and squeezed her hand back. "Alright then, but there's one more thing" Seiko looked at Naomi with worried eyes. Naomi hmm'ed.

"And what's that?"

"Why can't you go back to your mothers?" Seiko asked.

After asking that, Seiko to have seemed struck a nerve somewhere in Naomi. Naomi then suddenly jumped up from the bed. "No! I cannot!" She yelled, gripping her head in her hands.

Seiko was confused. "Naomi...Why not?" Seiko placed a hand on Naomi's shoulder, which seemed to calm her down slightly. Naomi breathed in and out slowly, regaining herself.

Naomi looked up at Seiko, tears pouring out of her eyes.

"Because, I'm not human" She said, and sat down on the floor, hugging her knees to her chest and rocked herself slightly.

Seiko sat in front of her, legs crossed, while her hand was supported on Naomi's shoulder. Seiko furrowed her brows.

"But I'm not human either"

"..h-huh?"

Seiko giggled lightly. "Look at me, Naomi. I'm living my life with my happy family, and I'm not even human, silly" Seiko bopped Naomi's nose lightly, making the werewolf blush.

Naomi then buried her head in her knees. "But they don't know that" She mumbled.

"Exactly"

"W-what?" Naomi looked up from here knees at the smiling girl. "She doesn't have to know your a werewolf, Naomi" She giggled. "How dense are you?".

Naomi leaned her chin on her knees while staring at the vampire. "Yeah, but she'll want an excuse for why I've been missing for years, claiming to be killed, Seiko" She reburied her head in knees again.

"I'll just say that I found you passed out somewhere, and you say you escaped someone who tried to keep you, but you managed to escape and you've suffered some memory loss, so you can't explain in detail what exactly happened" Seiko explained, a plan that just might work.

Naomi lifted her head up slowly and stared at Seiko intently. "Seiko..!" Naomi yelled, before throwing her arms around Seiko's neck, embracing the vampire ever so delicately.

Seiko blushed, but smiled, and returned the embrace, wrapping her arms around Naomi's waist. "Thank you..." Naomi whispered, blushing into Seiko's neck.

Seiko smiled sadly. "Anything for you, Naomi" And they stayed like that the whole night, even in sleep, they embraced each other.

Naomi stood in front of the door that leads to the Nakashima residence. Seiko was standing behind her, playing on her phone with an emotionless face. Naomi groaned and hit Seiko in the ribs with her elbow, making Seiko loose focus on her game.

"Pay attention!" Naomi hissed. Seiko looked at the screen of her phone, which displayed the words, 'Game Over'. Seiko slowly looked at Naomi with the most pissed off expression ever. "How dare you" She said slowly, in a very angry tone.

Naomi gulped, but glared back at her. "Well, I'm sorry, okay? But this is more important than some stupid game-"

"THAT WASN'T NO 'STUPID GAME', WOMEN! THAT WAS FLAPPY BIRD! AND I WAS ABOUT TO REACH PAST TWO HUNDRED, DAMMIT!" Seiko yelled, shoving the phone screen in Naomi's face.

Naomi laughed nervously. "Look, I'll make it up to you later for a thanks and sorry, but right now, we need to focus, okay?" Naomi asked, placing a hand on Seiko's shoulder.

Seiko mumbled something Naomi couldn't quite make out, but decided to go against it. She finally gave in and groaned. "Fine fine!" She said, and closed the flap of her phone and placed it in her pocket. Naomi smiled at her, before turning towards the door, taking a deep breath, and knocked.

It took a couple of moments before the door opened slowly, revealing Natsumi Nakashima, Naomi's mother.

Natsumi looked at Naomi for a second with a bored expression before gasping loudly. She flung her arms around Naomi and bawled loudly. Naomi happily returned the embrace, also crying.

Seiko sadly smiled at them from behind.

Natsumi took her head out of Naomi's neck and stroked her daughter's cheek delicately, as if it were glass that was about to break. "My child, my baby..!" Natsumi smiled brightly through her tears, hugging Naomi again.

Naomi breathed in her mother's scent, closing her eyes through her tears as well.

"I'm home, mom".
