 AHHH!!!! I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE!!! I had major writers' block! Anyway, chapter 9!

~~~
"Have you tracked them yet? It's been almost a month! I was hoping to get them by Christmas, but new year?!"
"Sorry sir, no activity of vampires or werewolves in the area."
"Well, Kurosaki, work HARDER!!!"
"Y-Yes,  Kizami, sir!"
Leaving the bed was hard.
Leaving the bed at 1 in the morning was hard as well.
But you know what's even harder? Untangling your arms from around Naomi's waist while she was sleeping peacefully. To Seiko, anyway.
Only wearing a grey tank top and some red sleep shorts, Seiko's eyes were half lidded with dark bags underneath them, her hair out of its usual curls and dangling down her back.
She stepped over her futon, which currently had a sleeping Naomi in it, and made her way to the bathroom, stroking Yuu (who was slumbering on the couch) and kissed his forehead on the way there. After doing her business and splashing her face with cold tap water, she turned off the bathroom light and tiptoed her way to the kitchen quietly.
"Milk, milk..." She whispered to herself, as she opened the fridge door to hunt upon the milk carton. Finally finding it, she took a glass from the shelf and poured herself some fresh milk, to help her go back to her slumbering state.
Wiping her mouth, she placed the empty glass in the sink to be washed in morning, while putting the milk back in the cool fridge.
Yep, that helped. Her eyes were starting to feel heavy, finally.
Until, she heard the bedroom door creak open.
"What are you doing up so late, Shinohara?"
"I could ask you the same thing, nerd."
Morishige huffed, squinting his eyes and rubbing them, before placing on his glasses and blinking a few times until he got his eyesight back. He folded his arms across his chest.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that this my apartment, I'll do what I please." He took a step forward in his checkered red slippers.
Seiko growled. "I don't have time for this shit, I'm fucking tired and not in a good mood, dude, I just got a drink to lull me to sleep." She shoved her hands in the pockets of her shorts.
Morishige smirked slightly. "Nice rhymes, but, as you can see, we are both doing the same thing."
"Alright, already! Enough with the goddamn rhymes." She scoffed, walking past him to return to her futon.
Morishige turned his body to face her back. "We're leaving in the morning."
"I would say why, but it's already morning." She didn't turn to face him.
He frowned. "Well, sorry, smart ass, I meant in a couple of hours, we're leaving." He pushed the rim of his glasses up his nose.
Seiko turned her head over her shoulder. "Why?"
He sighed. "The investigators, of course. I'm leaving town for a bit with Mayu until they leave, you and the werewolf are welcome to come, if you'd like."
Seiko pouted. "I thought you said they could track us if we did that...?" She said, turning to face him fully.
Morishige nodded. "Indeed they could, but, we lay low, and we're home free, for now anyway."
