Tough Love

As their "date" grew closer, the excitement of both Nathan and Rosie was apparent, although she was hiding it well.

When the day finally arrived, Rosie tried really hard not to enjoy it, giving off her usual cold attitude. First they had lunch, then he took her to an arcade house. Movies were next, and then they went for a walk in the park.

Unavoidably, after a while, the mood set in and she became relaxed as if she became a different person. He then grabbed her hand.

After initial startle, she allowed it saying, "I'm only allowing it since this is a date, don't think I like you, because I don't!"

At the end of day Nathan asked her whether she enjoyed the date. She childishly replied: "Hmpf, who could enjoy something like this!"

Nathan smirked as he leaned over her shoulder and whispered, "You're right, I forgot to kiss you." He then gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek as he whispered; "Now you have my second kiss, just like my first."

Rosie paused for a while as her face became red.

She then muttered, "You call that a kiss? This is a kiss!"

Rosie playfully put her arms around Nathan's neck as she reached up for a kiss.

Nathan's eyes went wide as he slowly closed them accepting the situation with a smile as he put his hands on her hips.

They both walked out towards the sunset as the birds chirped in harmony.
