"Boys will you please just can it?"

Jason's been here for about two weeks from college claiming that he doesn't have any important exams all of the way until Christmas. Somehow I doubt that, he's never been the best student, when he was in eighth grade and Jax and I were in seventh we were taking algebra one with his class and he was still in basic math.... And science..... And history. He pretty much paid his way to get into MIT.
Anyways he's been here for two weeks and he and Jax haven't stopped bickering once. Day and night hey argue. From what we eat for dinner to the Disney movie we watch! I'm annoyed to say the least.

"Will you stop acting like kindergarteners and help me with the macaroni."

They both quieted and got up to help me.

"I think we should've had Jimmy johns." Jason snipped in, harshly opening the utensil drawer and pulling three spoons out.

"I think macaroni is perfect Katie, thank you for making it."

I smiled, patting Jax on the cheek. He knows how to make a girl happy. Unless that was his romantic books advice shining through.

"Thank you Jaxson."

He shot a victorious smirk towards Jason while retrieving bowls from another cupboard.

Jason just muttered under his breath at Jax's kissing up.

"Jason Arec Marrid" I slapped the back of his head when I caught a curse word slip from the string of words coming from his mouth.

"What?" He asked me like there was no problem in the world with cussing.

"We are in my house not a ship so I expect you to quit talking like a sailor and more like a well educated person."

Jason looked down sheepishly and nodded.

"Sorry Katie"

"You're forgiven this time" I warned him as I continued pouring soda for the three of us.

I took the boiled macaroni off of the stove, transferring  it to a hot pad.. or whatever you call those things.

"Hand me the milk please." I asked not to anyone in particular.

"I'll get it"

"No I'll get it."

"No. I told you I'd get it."

"No."

I heard a crash and turned to find two guilty looking boys with a busted open milk carton on the ground in between.

I felt the annoyance of the last two weeks bubbling in my stomach. Not to mention the red tint my face was currently obtaining.

I glared at the both of them, yet still instead of manning up and confessing they wimped out and pointed at each other.

"He did it." They both accused each other like kindergarteners and continued to argue.

Keep calm Katie, they're just boys, it's what they do right?
Yeah.... We'll be okay just keep your cool.

I inhaled deeply and opened my eyes.

What?!

Jax held Jason in a head lock as he tried to wriggle his foot out of Jason's death grip.

"Katie, tell him to let go of me!" Jason whined, struggling pathetically under Jax's strength.
