CHAPTER 3:

I gazed at myself in the mirror, I was just done putting my slight make-up. I checked the time on my Lacoste watch which read 6:50. That's good 10 minutes before Matt picks me up. Maybe I'll stay i front of the mirror and drool at myself until he comes.

The lone time made me think. Is this date really worth a shot? Should I even gave it one? Matt is actually a nice guy. He's been asking me out for only gods know how long! He's very persevering but I don;t really count that a reason. But, maaaan! maybe I should give him what he deserves from all his hard work and when nothing comes out good. I'd tell him straight to the point so I wouldn't put his hopes up.

A message tone woke me up from my head decision. I guess it's Matt telling me he's on his way. But, when i opened it up it's from the sexy-voiced guy again. Did I just thought that?

'Hi Little Ms. Snobbish. Please forgive me. :(' I read it mentally. What's this guy apologizing for? Just don't mind him Maieve! He's just one annoying, sexy-voiced psycho!

Then the clock hit 7. I heard a car engine going off by the front door. Wew! On time much? I went down to get to his car. He is waiting for me and he opened the door for me. Sweeeeet!

"Maieve, you look extremely hot tonight." he told me and I saw the sincerity on his eyes.

"Thanks! but in my opinion you look way hotter than me." I returned the compliment he truely deserved with his looks I've never seen before. Then i slipped into the passenger seat. He closed the door and went in to the driver's.

"Bad comparison, Maieve. Am I sexier than you?" he told in a falsetto mimicking that of a girl's.

I cannot help but laugh. This guy has great humor as well. Don't blame me. But their so easy to get along. I smelled the car freshener. I smelled it has a watermelon scent. I like it too darn much that I inhaled a few time more. I heard Matt chuckled.

I admired his highly customized old model of Porsche Boxster and it's really an additional to his appeal.

"Do you want the top down?" I heard him ask me, I can feel the awkwardness on his voice. Not that I blame him.

"No, this is perfect." I smiled a reassuring one. I turned his stereo on to fill the air of awkwardness. He got alot of songs in his apple Ipad hung in his dashboard. It's pretty cool. I think, I'll have those, too. I am shocked to seemostly all of my favorite songs and I laughed like an idiot. Matt gave me a look.

"I love this British band! Funeral for a Friend and this one too! Ice Nine Kills but they are my most!" I spat out excitingly. I played my favorite FF song Escape Artists Never Dies.

"I loved that song of theirs when they aren't all out in the lime light yet." He began to talk with the awkwardness gone.

"I love them, too!" I just told him matter-of-factly.

After the 30 mins drive to the movie house, we went straight to the ticket booth and he bought two tickets of a horror movie. I gasped.

"Kelly told me you like horror movies and she told me to watch those." I was shocked from what he said. UGH! I am gonna kill my bessie!

"Not really, but I think it's fine." I smiled that looked more like of a stretched mouth. I saw him worried but I nodded that we go in.

I decided to the seat at the top. Farthest away possible from the screen. There's only a few people watching. We sat at the top most part under the i think where the projector is. The trailers are still playing and went out to buy snacks. I waited impatiently just as the movie might start and I will fet so scared! My message tone went off.
