Miato Pov

I slowly turned over on my back feeling the breeze of the cool night air from the open window across my room. I sat up looking down on my floor seeing Beast sleeping softly and quietly but his tail was coiled around his stomach like a python. I had to snicker seeing him like that something made me feel like smiling maybe it because I had a friend someone who looks at me as a person not a freak or some demon child that came from hell to be a punching bag. I looked over at my clock to see it was only 4:00Am in the morning still got two hours before school began so I sighed, waking up early sucked because I was the type once I woke I was awake till the next time I was tired. It wasn't long before Beast flawless body shifted and made my eyes dart immediately towards him to see what he was up to but he just sat up and yawned stretching his upper body his eyes was dilating with his black furry ear flopped over his left eye as he shook his head to get his ear and hair out of his face he looked up at me. "Oh your up early Miato, bad dream?" he yawned "no just woke up early for some reason I just don't know why but that's ok, why you up so early?" I looked at him but all I got was a shrug. moments went by before either of us spoke "we could go get something to eat before school my treat Miato how about it you in?" he asked as his black white tipped tail flicked in the air looking at me with his blueish green eyes "yeah ok lets get dressed and I will tell my mother" I got out of bed stretching as Beast stood up too we was same height 6"5 so pretty tall. I grabbed a red long sleeve shirt slipped it on followed by my skinny jeans and my high top shoes I turned to look where my coat hung only to see a new one. It was beautiful it was black made of cotton and a special type of cloth that made it perfect and resistant to anything I could throw at it even fire proof. I walked over to it and red as it was from Beast I smiled slipping it on turning to see him give me a smile as if he was waiting for my approval I just smiled big walking past him as he was getting dressed. I walked down the hall to the kitchen where my mom sat "Miato your up this early is there something on your mind" she looked at me with her careless look. "Thanks for the new cell phone mom, but not I was asking if I can out with beast to grab a bite to eat before school" she looked away to the window to her left closing her eyes sighing. "I don't care long your home before dusk so I don't got to tell your father in the spirit world I lost our son though you know I really don't care what you do just be home by 10 tonight" I nodded. I turnt and began out of the room walking down the hallway seeing Beast walking out my room with our back packs he looked at me "yeah we can go Beast" he smiled big "great lets go" I nodded as he handed me my back pack we walked out the house and to the door of the fence leaving the house completely.

"This is nice Miato" he spoke looking up at the moon as his tail flicked behind him "what do you mean?" he just laughed showing his teeth like a white wall as he snickered closing his eyes. In my world that's a typical feline annoying mysterious and emotionally insane "the hell is up with you?" he looked at me and shook his head "nothing, it just having a friend like you around makes me feel normal for a change you don't look at me like a pro boxer or a gods gift to girls you look at me and see me your the first person to see me for me and yet you accept that" I looked at him and then away. "Yeah, so you got a posy of boys they should see you for you" I sighed "they don't they think I am a god of fighting that's it and they only like it because they score girls being around me but you don't even like girls do you Miato" I looked at him and felt feelings I had not felt before forming inside of me. Feelings I didn't have an idea what to do with, "I don't like anyone in that way no one suits me" he looked at me "someone will catch you eye everyone has a right gay or straight there someone for everyone it just if you find them" I rolled my eyes as he grabbed my hand pulling me in a sharp right to a building. He pulled me in as I looked around we was in a ramen shop "my treat order anything you like" I looked at him nodding as we got seated I sat down in a booth. Something I love is booths not a fan of leaving my back towards the open that's another reason why I hate school. It wasn't long before Beast came with the menus to order from I saw allot of my favorite foods but I didn't wanna spend his money so I pointed to a bowel of chicken ramen. He snickered "a mutt ordering chicken you really are becoming one of my favorites" I rolled my eyes catching myself smiling "yeah well chicken happens to be one of my favorite food types ok Mr. mysterious feline" I laughed as he tilted his head giving me that oh really look. It didn't take long before the waiter came and took our order and then he brought our food to our table with chopsticks something I really enjoyed. I took my time showing my table manners as Beast went in for the kill to his ramen eating like a crazed hungry dog I laughed and ate slow. We shared a few good laughs before we realized we was late for school we took off running.
