Thomas (from Maze runner) x reader

You woke up in your sleeping bag, opening your eyes to the glade.

It was beautiful and slient. No one had woken up yet, it wasn't time for anyone to be awake.

Your bestfriend Thomas was next to you, you glanced over and smiled at him softly.
He was so handsome, his long eye lashes were black and his thick eyebrows matched the colour of his black hair. You were tempted to run your hand through his hair.

But you just leaned back looking up at the sky. You got up moving to the shower rooms and went and took a hot shower. Putting on your clothes you go to the maze wall pushing the ivy away to show a small window and you looked through it seeing a light, a griever was right on the other side of the wall, you watched silently as it slugged along the stone floor, inches away. It made your heart race, you backed away silently and went to the food but where frypan was already awake making food. You always got there early to sit with newt and eat by your self you didn't want to be there when the boys were stuffing their faces.

You grabbed the breakfast he had made you and sat down waiting for newt. He had just hobbled in rubbing his eyes tired, he grabbed a plate and went sitting across from you

"Good morning (y/n)" he smiled softly as he started to eat "so did you figure out what job was best suited for you?" He raised an eyebrow.

You shook your head "I was thinking either being a bagger or....a runner." You said the last part softly, you knew it was hard for newt and Thomas if would find out that you wanted to put your self in that kinda danger.

He sighed and shook his head "I could put in a word for you to be a runner.." He scratched his head "but I'm not gonna take the fall when Tom finds out." He chuckled silently

You nodded " I understand that, but it shouldn't have to be his choice on what I do." You nodded pushing food into your mouth.

You guys sat silently eating until everyone woke up, Thomas was almost the first one in besides Minho.

Thomas rushed over and wait next to you "morning!" He chuckled softly and started to eat

You laughed alittle and looked at newt

"You know you guys would be a great couple." Minho chuckled and leaned back as he looked at you and Thomas

Your faces turned bright red and you coughed and he choked on his food.

"That's werid were bestfriends!" He exclaimed through his chokes.

I blushed and bite my lip "how could you say that!" You looked at them shocked

"You're literally the only girl here and every guy guns after you, but there's literally no one you like?" Minhos eyebrow raised

You coughed alittle awkward " I do like someone, but that's none of your business."

Thomas's ears perk up "you like someone and you haven't told me who it is?" He blinked

You stood up and moved past Thomas "I'll see guys later!" You quickly walk out and run over to the grave yard and you sit next to a grave "it's easier being dead, you probably remember who you are..where you came from.. And not have all of these confusing feelings.." you sigh softly and chuckled as if you were talking to someone you knew well.

Thomas had looked at newt and Minho "I'll be back." He set his silverware down and ran out to find you. He heard you talking to the graves and he remembered when Ben almost killed him and he shuttered but he pushed it out of his thoughts and he moves sitting next to you "you like someone?" He looked at you

You looked back at him "yeah I do.." You played with the grass with your other hand

"Who is it? Is it Minho? Or newt?" He tilted his head looking
At you

You chuckle softly and bite your lip, and out of no where you pin him to the ground and you kiss him softly

His eyes widen and he blushed but closed his eyes softly grabbing your waist kissing back

You part looking at him "I like you Thomas..I've liked
You got a long time."

"I've liked you too, I just figured that you'd find someone else..I mean everyone likes you...you are the only girl.." He chuckled and held you

"No only you." You whispered kissing him again softly
