pour some sugar on me ;; def leppard

I was stationed with Clint and Wanda by order of Captain America. I'm usually used as backup for either Natasha or Clint, but considering that Black Widow hadn't arrived yet, I was put with Hawkeye. Wanda was put with me, really, by Pietro. He only trusts me to look after her, which I can understand.

To be completely honest, I love fighting with Clint. I was stationed with him during the Manhattan battle, and it was pretty amusing. He doesn't take things too seriously, and I enjoy watching him concentrate on his targets. Plus, he doesn't scorn me when I put in my witty comments.

"Wanda, your left!" I shouted, preoccupied with droids to help her shoot off any on her side.

She quickly rotated, Clint sending an arrow flying at the robot. I turned back, fighting off the ones coming at me.

"Bow and arrow," Clint said. "You all have super powers and I'm stuck with a bow and arrow."

"Not true," I interjected. "There's Natasha, Sam, Rhodey, and Tony. You're not alone, Barton."

"Not what I meant."

There was a sudden rumble coming from the earth. I looked around in confusion when I felt the the ground continue to shake. I shared a glance with Clint and Wanda, but neither of them seemed to know what was going on either.

"Do you see the beauty of it?" Ultron's voice echoed, coming through one of the floating droids. "The inevitability. You rise, only to fall."

"You, Avengers, are my meteor," he continued. "My swift and terrible sword, and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me; it means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal."

I grumble angrily at Ultron's words, crushing the droid with my telekinesis to mute it. We continued on like that, Clint and I fighting off robots and Wanda jumping in whenever she could.

"Cap, you got incoming," I heard in my earpiece.

"Incoming already came in," Steve said in reply. "Stark, you worry about getting the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job: tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed...walk it off."

"That's very inspirational, Cap," I breathed out, and the only thought that came to my mind was Pietro.

"No, wait, watch out!" I shout, running to shelter with Clint and Wanda.

"Go, go, move!"

We squatted down in an abandoned building, breathing heavily. I stood watch at the door, in case any droids came for us.

"How could I let this happen?" I heard Wanda say from behind me.

"Wanda?" I sighed, retreating from my post to comfort her. I heard Clint grumble in annoyance as he replaced my spot.

"This is all our fault," she mumbled, speaking of her and Pietro.

"It doesn't matter whose fault it is," I said. "What you did in the past with Ultron doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is right now, and what you do to stop him."

"Are you up for this?" Clint asked from the threshold. "Look, I just need to know because the city is-it's flying. Okay, look, the city is flying, we're fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense."
