"You should get out more."

"Why would I want to do that?"

Peter sighed, walking over to my bed, taking a seat on the edge.

"I just think that staying in here isn't good for you," he told me, shrugging.

"I don't need to go anywhere. I'll be like this either way," I said, denying his request to leave my room.

"What if I told you that Pietro was here?" Peter asked. I glared at him.

"That's a sick joke, Peter," I snapped. "Not funny."

"Fine," Peter rolled his eyes, getting up from my bed. "Don't come say hi."

I continued to stare at Peter, as he continued to hold my gaze. I knew that Pietro wasn't here, and that Peter is lying. I just wanted to hear him say it, to vocalize the inevitable truth that the man that I so hopelessly fell in love with is not here. It would be impossible to find that Pietro were on the ship. We haven't been in the same galaxy for months now.

"You got me, okay?" Peter finally muttered, shoulders slumped in defeat. "He's not here."

"You couldn't have possibly expected me to be so gullible," I said, sitting up in my bed.

"I wanted you to get out of your room for once," he replied.

"By trying to convince me that Pietro was here?"

"Yeah. Can you blame me?"

To be honest, I couldn't. I understood where Peter was coming from, and maybe that should have been a good enough reason for me to get out of bed, but I still couldn't find the strength.

"I'll give you some credit for that one," I said. "Give me a minute and I'll see you."

With a skip in his step and a smile on his face, Peter exited my small room. He was right, I had to get out and do something with myself before I completely cave in. Before I could go and freshen up, I heard a beep coming from my bedside.

Looking over, I found my tablet. It's the same one that I had used with Peter to check up on him while he was travelling. However, it was not my brother's name that popped up on the screen, but Steve's face.

"Steve?" I asked, shocked as I looked at the hologram of my best friend.

"Olivia," he greeted, smiling slightly. "Listen, this is urgent-"

"Is it time?" I interrupted, gripping my blanket in my fists. "Tell me."

"Sam and I have found Bucky," Steve told me. "Now it's just a matter of getting him to safety. Natasha and Sam are helping; we 're just waiting on you."

"I'll be there as soon as I can, Captain," I said, in all seriousness. His face soon faded, before I was tempted to ask where Pietro was. Looking back at the doorway where Peter once was, I groaned. I had to go, Steve needs me.

Scribbling down a note for Peter and the gang, I gathered my things and teleported to Steve.

The adventure was only beginning.
