A story of a boy who was very weak yet he had always tried his best to get his fathers attention yet little did he know that his father had loved him dearly yet he just did not show it.
So he hired him a personal knight Zane was not so happy since he thought he could fight for himself but oh how naive he was getting beaten up everyday by those who mock him for losing his mind.
As soon as the two had layed eyes on each other (Y/n) had seen a boy who she just has to protect for money while Zane saw a beautiful angel... No she was a goddess yet he knew that she was just going to become one of his weaknesses and kill him off so he tries to ignore her yet no matter how many times she would annoy him he could not help but want to talk to her more...
Yet his ambitions on getting his fathers attention had dropped he now wanted to get (Y/n)s attention the two would end up walking around talking each other and get a few stares.
One night Zane was gone so (Y/n) tried her hardest to find him yet no luck that was until she noticed that there was a cherry blossom tree outside of the walls so she walked around to find Zane kneeling down in front of a grave stone (Y/n) looks confused until she finally realizes that it was the Grave of Zanes mother.
She approaches him slowly and sees Zane stand up and grabs her hand and walks her towards the stone and said.
"My mother once told me 'Find the right girl and bring her in front of my grave I want to see what she would look like' I did not understand what she meant..." Zane said looking sadly back into the stonce (Y/n) looks confused and said
"You know how long I was searching for you Zane? Don't disappear like that again okay?" She hugs Zane, Zane felt happy for the first time in so long he hugs back and said
"If one of us ever gets lost please come back to this tree okay?" He said rubbing his head on the crook of (Y/n) neck.
"Yeah... sure... just know that I am here to protect you okay Zane?"
"Yeah cause your paid to..." Zane says with tears in his eyes
"No because I actually care for you"
Just the word care rang through his head as if he has not heard of it before.... for his mother once said
'To protect those you care for you would do anything for them just to know there safe'
Zane knew at this moment that he had fallen for (Y/n) and would do as his mother had said....
2 Years later the two would visit daily Zanes mother yet little did Zane know was his mother was happy for him until (Y/n)s time had come Zane woke up to find that the girl he loved was now gone... forever but instead he found that there was a Phoenix like flag connected to the arrow and was furious after this incident he went back to his old ways he would start wars against Phoenix Drop he would never forgive them....
Yet what he didn't know was that she was still alive... well she was reborn a shadow knight....
There was a sigh filled through out the room (Y/n) closes her book of history and closes it "Damn it Zane what have you gotten into..." She throws the huge book across the room causing it to open the last page which said 'With every story comes a end which fateful ending will (Y/n) have?'
(Y/n) gets up and sees that her old friend Zenix has changed alot. Yet she never fussed about this she got up and puts on (F/c) mask a red crop top, (S/f/c) shorts, (F/c) jacket she grabs her back pack and looks back over to the book and puts it in her bag and jumps out of her window.
She lands softly on her feet and runs towards the portal slaying a couple of shadow knights and jumps right through landing inside of a cave.
"Don't worry Zane... I will protect you... for it was a promise..."

As Zane sits underneath the tree he sits by his mom grave and looks up into the moonlight as the petals fall down gracefully.
"Did I do something wrong mom? I know I kill people... but why (Y/n)? she did not deserve a death like this... It should have been me... that got shot..." He hits the ground as tears brim on the tears of his eyes he then felt a weird presence but ignores it and says
"I will avenge you (Y/n)... for I promised to protect you as well but I-I failed you..."
Zane gets up and walks down a path towards Phoenix Drop...
