Underneath a mask (High Priest Zane x Reader)

As Zane's mother had said this (Y/n)s eyes teared up as she nodded and soon enough the lady walked towards Jermimah and put her hand to her head and sighed as she started to drain Jermimah's soul and when she did she staggered over to (Y/n) and tapped her head with her thumb.

When she did she fell to the ground, (Y/n) tried to stay strong so she quickly sprinted towards the hole and jumped through the force field that protected this kingdom.
She was about to enter the  woods when she heard a voice "Do you really think you could get away that easily?" She turned around to look at the king of the southeastern wolf tribe was standing before her.

Rage took over as she quickly sprinted towards him, she tried to reach for a weapon in her sheath but she looked down to see there was no sword so the king took advantage and raised his hand in the air and grabbed her foot.

And slammed her to the floor causing a sharp pain in her ankle along with a bone crushing noise in her arm.
"AAAHHH!!!" She screamed out in pain, the king then puts his foot to her throat and his hand to her head.

"So? which person would you like to forget?" he looks down into (Y/n)s eyes and smirks
"N-none of them..." She says stubbornly 
"Even if it costed your life?!" He says crushing his foot down harder on her neck
"Even if it costed m-my life!" She repeated but this time when she said this a black aura surrounded her whole body as the black mist covered her whole body.

She watches as the kings foot went right through her body and soon enough she disappeared into the shadows.
The king tries to look around cautiously, but it was too late she flew up behind him and slammed his face to the ground.

He tries to look at her from behind but she sat on top of his back and punched it making him scream in pain as she punched the center of his spine.He tries one more time but this time he saw her, the natural (E/c) was now a light red while her hair was a shadow like (H/c) color.

But the one thing that caught his attention was her black angel like wings his eyes widened in shock "Y-You! You are the fallen angel!" He says as he tears up and watches as the top of her wings turned into metal and faced towards him and shot him multiple times to death.

"Stop right there!" Somebody said from the distance, he came out of the shadows and stared at the dead king laying down on the ground and smirks
"I always knew that guy was going to die soon..." He says as he look up to (Y/n)
"Who are you?" He says as he walks towards her
"(Y/n)..." She says as she walks towards him and puts her hand out
"I am the lord of Okhasis how would you like to become a guard?" He says smiling
"Can I be your sons... Zane I mean... Can I be his personal knight?" She says, he looks at her and nods as he takes her back to the kingdom.

It was at this point the two went back to Okhasis and the first time in forever Zane's heart fluttered while (Y/n)s stayed cold.
But after awhile (Y/n) started to love Zane's presence while he loved the same thing yet they kept it a secret from eachother.

And now (Y/n) realized what Zane meant by his mother saying "Find the right girl in front of my grave, I want to see what she would look like" She was talking about (Y/n) that is why she used her life to save (Y/n)... because she knew that (Y/n) could change Zanes heart...

Zane pov

I cried as I tried to get up and help (Y/n) but the fake jermimah pushed me to the ground "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! SHE IS YOUR FRIEND!" I yelled out to her yet I didn't break down any of her walls she continued to stare at me lifelessly just then I heard a chuckle behind her.

I looked behind her to see that Fenrir was laying on the ground but this time the sword was stuck through his head.
"Don't you dare touch him"
