As much as Sigyn loved being in Midgard, she wanted to be in Asgard when the child was born.

"Loki, I wish to go to Asgard."

"Why is that my dove?"

"I feel that it will be soon when it comes, and I want to be in Asgard when it does."

Loki smiled and kissed her.

"Then we leave today."

"Thor, Sigyn and I are going back to Asgard. Would you want to come along with us?" Loki said to his brother.

"I would like to come, yes. When are we going?"

"Today."

Sigyn approached Stark while he was in his workshop, the place he was most happy in.

*Tap Tap* She tapped on the door before entering.

"Tony, I have something to tell you."

She began, getting his attention.

"Fire away preggo." Ugh. More nicknames.

"Well, um. Loki, Thor and I are leaving. Tonight." Sigyn almost (almost) felt guilty because of the face Tony made.

The puppy dog face.

"But why?" He asked.

"I wish to have my baby in Asgard. I don't know if it will be a permanent stay or not." She explained.

"I hope it's temporary." Tony told her, not looking at her directly.

"I'm sorry Tony."

And she went back upstairs to inform the rest.

Steve sat at a desk with a piece of paper he was drawing on.

He was currently doing some shading on a drawing of a horse he was trying to finish when Loki walked in.

"Hello." Loki started, but Steve could tell something was on his mind.

"What's the issue? You can ask me anything, although the answer may not be right." Steve gave a smile, willing to help the god of mischief.

"No, no. Sigyn and I are leaving tonight. Along with Thor. Sigyn wishes to have the child be born in Asgard."

"Well, she's the one carrying it, so it should be her choice where it's born."

Loki nodded and looked over at what he was drawing, and thought it would look better with 4 more legs.

-/-

"Bruce?"

"I'm over here, Sigyn."

Sigyn walked over, paranoid of hitting something. She felt so large in this state.

"I'm hoping you take this well, but, I'm going home tonight. Loki is going too, and Thor is as well. I'm sorry Bruce."

And she left, leaving Bruce alone with his thoughts.

So she's leaving.

We may never see the child everyone has been gearing up for.

Wow.

That was a curveball..

I will miss them.

"Clint, stop hiding, I know you're back there." Natasha said to Barton, who was trying to hide behind a large fern.

"And hello Loki." She added as Loki walked in.

"Hello Romanoff, and Barton."

"What's on your mind bro?" Clint said, adding the 'bro' as a joke.

"I'm going to make this quite short. Sigyn, Thor, and I are leaving for Asgard tonight. You can say goodbye tonight before we go. I am sorry."

And with that, he met up with Sigyn and Thor. The night was approaching.

The three of them stood on the top of Stark Tower, waiting for the Avengers, who said to wait for them.

"I told you they would wait for us!" Clint said, running in their direction, with the rest trailing behind him.

And so the sad farewells began.

"Here. Take this, it's a video camera. And this, a regular camera. I want you to take pictures leading up to the birth. I know that Thor will be back, and when he comes, we'll be able to see this." Tony said, giving Loki the devices.

"Bye everyone." Sigyn said, pulling herself tight to Loki, who was holding onto Thor's arm.

And they went back home, leaving their friends on Midgard.
