Loki returned with the little bundle of blankets that held Avior, who was shaking like a leaf.

"Oh Avior," Sigyn whispered, glad to see he was alive, but saddened by the state he was in.

"We should let them know he is okay, they've been worried," Sigyn said to her husband, who would not set Avior down, afraid that if he did, the baby would be even more chilled.

Sigyn put a hand lightly on Avior's little forehead, and found it cold.

"Loki, he's-"

"I know," Loki interrupted before she could finish, as he gave her a sad look.

Sigyn nodded and left to go inform their friends that Avior was alive.

A few silent tears fell from Sigyn's face, as she opened the door allowing the Avengers in their chambers.

"There, there must be something we can do!" Tony said, looking at Loki's solemn face and also at the shaking mini-Loki.

"I'm afraid there isn't," Sigyn choked out, keeping quiet, in fear she might burst into tears at any moment.

Loki's gears were turning as they talked, racking his vast knowledge for anything to help his son.

Nothing.

The Frost Giants will pay, this will not go without punishment. Loki thought, pulling Avior closer.

A few days went by, with zero improvement with the boy, and time was running low.

"Brother," Thor said, sitting next to Loki.

"I know who can help him."

Loki looked at him, as an approval to go on.

"Our father."

Loki despised the Allfather.

With a passion.

He had been lied to his entire life about himself, and only wanted to please his father, only to be denied that, and falling into the abyss.

But this was his son they were talking about. Someone he would do absolutely anything for.

So he agreed to it.

And the Allfather called Loki and Sigyn, along with little Avior, and as painful as it was to watch their child be in pain, Odin restored the baby's health.

"Thank you, Allfather." Sigyn thanked him as they left.
