On Second Thought

(A/N I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON WHO DESERVES HELL. Being honest, I had given up on this story, because the previous chapters are shit, which I will most likely be re-writing in the near future, but by some act of God, I am back to writing this story.)

After the fiasco with Jotunheim, Loki and Sigyn had begun to re-think about life on Asgard. The Avengers would eventually have to return to Earth, and who knows how often they'd see Avior. It was a tough subject, deciding where they wanted to raise their child. On one hand, they had both grown up in Asgard (their experience as children is a subject to change) and on another, Loki and Sigyn wanted their friends to be a part of Avior's life.

Nevertheless, the answer was clear to both of them, Loki had the worst childhood imaginable on Asgard, (that being said, it was mostly Odin's fault) and Midgard was a fascinating place, which held so many things to show in the future to a small child.

So, between the two of them, they had decided they would return to Midgard with the Avengers and would remain there for the foreseeable future.

-The Next Week-

"Well, Lokes, I'm going to miss you. And you, Sigyn." Tony announced the day they were to return to Earth with sadness lacing his voice. Loki was his best friend, whom he was used to being around all the time. But things were changing. Loki had a wife and a child now, and he needed to stay with them.

If only he knew.

"Well, not to worry, we'll visit often, my friend." Loki responded with a smile.

"You better."

Once they made it down the Rainbow Bridge and to the Bifrost, the team knew something was up, they had expected Loki and Sigyn to seem sadder at the sight of their friends leaving, but they simply weren't. (But it made sense when it came to Loki, being the god of lies and all)

"So, this is farewell, brother," Thor sighed solemnly.

Loki smiled a mischievous grin, "No, brother, it's not."

The Thunderer squinted in confusion. "I do not understand, you are staying in Asgard, are you not?"

Now Sigyn was smiling.

"We have come to the decision, after the incident with Jotunheim and the looming disapproval of Odin looming, Sigyn and I decided we will be joining you in returning to Midgard."

Everyone was overjoyed, their friends would be coming home with them, and they all loved Avior dearly.

It seemed that everything was right in the universe.
