Natsu stopped crying, the birds stopped chirping.

To me it was like I was frozen in time.

'Why? Why is this happening again. Now Natsu will suffer.' I thought

Zeref released Natsu from his grasp.
Natsu placed his small feet on the tiled floor and waddled towards our now deceased mother.
Natsu climbed up on the bed and hugged he.

" Mummy... why... why d-did you leave us?!" he began to cry again

Zeref walked up to the both of them with a poker face. He then placed his hand on Natsu's shoulder

"Natsu come on, we need to bury her."
Natsu turned to face him and nodded slowly.

"O-okay... I-I'll help... b-b-bury mummy."
Natsu began to cry again. Zeref raced to reached Natsu and hugged him tightly.

"Shhh Natsu, it's okay, it's okay. Mum's time was over and now we have to live for Dad and Mum. Okay...?"

Natsu nodded

"Okay I'll be a big, brave boy and live for Mummy and Daddy."

Zeref smiled and ruffled his hair

"Now that's my little brother."
Natsu was giggling softly
"Stop Nii-san"
"Hehe no way."

Zeref began to tickle Natsu, and Natsu couldn't help but laugh.

"Hahaha Nii-san stop."

Zeref continued to tickle Natsu until he was on the floor gasping for air. Zeref stood up and smiled softly.

"Alright now that you're smiling again, do you want to help me?"
"Mmmhm!"
Natsu replied happily.
