Chapter 5

Timeskip

Natsu P.O.V

Zeref-nii was digging the grave while I was decorating mum's grave with everything that she likes. I wiped the sweat of my forehead and smiled at my work.

"Nii-san I'm finished."

Nii-san looked up and smiled
"Good job Natsu. Mum would be very happy."

I blushed and smiled
"T-thanks Nii-san. I'm glad that mummy will like it."

Me and Nii-san finished mummy's grave.

"Okay Natsu, were putting in now... are you okay with that..."
"Yes... I need to be strong for mum."

I said with determination
I helped Nii-san put mum in the grave and covered her up with dirt. Mum was lying right next to dad so she will be able to be with dad all the time.

I then started to tug on Nii-sans pants.

"Ne Nii-san, do you want to say something to mummy?"
He shook his head
"It's okay Natsu. Why don't you say something to mum."
"Okay I'll say something. Hi mummy can you say hi to daddy for me and say that I've been a good boy. I'm gonna really miss you mummy and I will never ever forget you, so make sure that you don't forget me.
I love you so much."

Zeref P.O.V

I was listening to Natsu talking to mum. I feel so bad for him. He's been through so much with not having a father and now no mother.

"Come on Natsu let's go inside before it gets dark yeah?"
Natsu just nodded his head focusing on mum's newly grave.

I was never really close to mum like Natsu was. I was more closer to dad. He taught me how to do magic and how to take care of Natsu when he was little.
Now that mum is gone I have to take care of Natsu more and also attend school.

Natsu and I walked inside. Natsu sat on the couch squeezing his knees to his chest and head down low.

"Natsu do you want something to drink?"
"No... I'm okay Zeref-nii."
"Okay come on then Natsu, it's time for bed now."
"Alright... goodnight... Zeref-nii."

As I saw Natsu climb up the stairs and close his door with a 'click'. I began to feel guilty. I didn't want Natsu to feel like it was his fault.

'I gotta think of a way to make him smile again.' I thought
Suddenly an idea popped into my head. I put my hand on my chin
"Hmm that might work. Maybe then Natsu wont feel guilty anymore."
