Elena wasn't sure on this plan. She wasn't sure about enlisting the Mikaelsons help and most of all she wasn't sure on Seth. If he even was who he said he was. She had shared a tight bond with both Salvatore's over the years and she found it almost unbelievable that they would leave out the story of their long lost brother.

"I know your worried, Elena" Seth analysed whilst they climbed up the hill. "But I'm just here to do the same thing as you, I'm here to stop Jenna and destroy Katherine's master plan"

Elena smiled slightly. She hated letting her guard down but she also believed highly in giving people the benefit of the doubt. "I'm just worried about our different intentions once we find Jenna and Stefan." 

"I want my brothers" Seth stated staring at the girl. 

Elena's intentions were much different. She wanted to rip out Stefan's heart and serve it to Jenna on a plate, even though she knew that would be almost impossible with of his friends and his brother standing beside her every move. "I want that too" she lied through gritted teeth. 

"Well then i guess our intentions fit quite well" he smirked and Elena laughed slightly. But she could feel two pairs of eyes watching her, and she was sure that if they stared any harder, they would burn through her head. She turned around and flashed a smile at Caroline and the look which struck Caroline's face was priceless. 

As they approached the top of the mountain, they entered a small cave which was pitch black. Elena felt herself fall slowly before someone catch her by the hip. She shivered as she knew the hands were not belonging to a girls. She shivered even more as she realized they weren't moving. 

"So this is it? This is where Klaus and Rebekah disappeared off to?" Caroline struck whilst pulling a disgusted face. It was almost nothing. Floor, walls, rocks and nothing but that. It was hard to imagine that the great Klaus Mikaelson and his siblings were living in here.

"Well that's where he disappeared once you broke his heart" Bonnie teased and Caroline hissed at her. 

"You and the Klaus Mikaelson? Oh, i did not expect that" Seth laughed and Elena laughed with him. Caroline glared at her with evil eyes. She hated the way Elena was acting. Like a lost puppy following yet again another Salvatore. 

"Well, there's a lot of sides to people. You shouldn't underestimate them" Caroline growled. 

The area around them became absorbed with tension. 

"So...where are they?" Bonnie said looking around the empty cave. 

Elena walked over to the corner, "Guys...we have a problem"  She held up a piece of paper, new and crisp reading, 'Maybe the hair started the race quicker, but the tortoise beat her to the finish line, game on, mommy -J'

"They beat us...they won" Elena sighed laying down on her hotel bed. 

"Not yet...they haven't found the cure yet, and they won't. we will" Seth smiled sitting beside her. 

"Thank you, for coming up with the plan. Even though we were beaten to it" She laughed. She sat up slowly and their eyes connected.

"Your welcome" he whispered before leaning in slowly. Elena didn't react, she didn't move. She felt his lips meet hers, gently. And still she didn't move. As he pulled away, she didn't blink, she regretted even letting him near her lips. She promised her lips were reserved only for Damon but somehow she couldn't stop the rushing feeling she got when he kissed her.

"We shouldn't of done that" Elena scrambled together the words but Seth didn't reply. He just stood up, pulling her up with him. 

"Elena, I've watched you obsesses over my brothers for years. First Stefan. Then Damon. And i know that right now, your heart will always belong to Damon. But of those years that i watched you, I wanted to feel how soft your lips were. I wanted to know what made my brothers fight over you. And now i do" he run his fingers over her lips gently and she shivered, almost not sure if the shivers were in disgust or desire. "And now i know how it feels, i wont stop until i can call you mine, Elena Gilbert." He lent down and placed a kiss gently on her cheek. And then he left. Leaving her confused and alone. Very alone.
