Dean left the room
"Great" I said as I sat down. "Now I've gone and made things worse."
"It needed to be said" Seth assured
"I know, but now I feel bad. I didn't want to upset him" I said.
"He's a big boy. He can handle it." Seth said "Besides, he shouldn't throw his weight around if he can't deal with the circumstances."
"Is that what's been bothering you?" I asked.
"What are you talking about?" Seth replied
"I've noticed you haven't been yourself lately. Has Dean been giving you a hard time?" I asked
"No, it's not Dean" Seth answered. "I actually hoped you wouldn't notice."
He walked over to the cupboard and grabbed a glass. He took the milk out of the fridge and pouted himself a glass.
"Notice what?" I said as I watched him.
"It's stupid" he dismissed
"I don't care if it's stupid, just tell me."
He mumbled something under his breath that I couldn't quite make out. "What?"
''I like you!" Seth repeated
"As in, like me...like me?" I asked.
He nodded, and I scratched the back of my head, wondering what the hell to say to him. I was completely lost for words. I had never once suspected that he liked me as more than just a friend, and it was the last thing I expected to come out of his mouth.
"Last night, after we finished playing, spin the bottle. Dean told me he liked you after you kissed" He admitted "and it made me angry because I've liked you for years"
"Years!" I said in shock. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I know you don't feel the same way...and that's fine" he said as he finished his drink
"How do you know I don't feel the same way?" I asked
"I just assumed by the way you act around me" Seth replied
I walked over to him and took hold of his hands, holding them down by the side of me as I looked up at him
"That's because I never knew it was a possibility. If I knew how you felt, I would have considered it"
"You would?" Seth asked.
"Sure" I confirmed. "I mean, you're a handsome guy and you would make a great boyfriend..."
"Why do I sense a but coming?" Seth interrupted
I could see the desperation in his eyes and I didn't want to give him false hope
"Because after what has happened with Dean, I'm reluctant." I explained "We were friends and now he hates me. I don't want that to happen to us."
"We could always be friends with benefits?" Seth suggested, laughing as he placed his cup in the sink.
"That could work" I replied
"Wait, a second Jaime. I was just joking" Seth said as he turned around to look at me.
I walked over to him and placed my hand on the back of his neck, pulling his face down to my level
''I wasn't" I mumbled before locking lips with him for a heated kiss
"Wait, a second. Does this mean we're-"
"Stop talking" I said, pressing my lips up against his again
We stopped once we heard Dean making his way downstairs, and we smiled at each other, both a little giddy from the kiss we just shared.

Jaime
So the friends with benefits arrangement has worked out pretty well. Seth and I had great sex, and we were having fun. That being said, I sensed Seth wanted more from me than what we had, but I wasn't ready for a relationship.

Seth
Things had been great between Jaime and me, but I couldn't help but want more. No strings attached sex was great and everything, but afterwards we would go our separate ways and go back to acting like friends and it wasn't enough. I needed more, but she was too worried about the consequences of taking things any further. I couldn't even talk to her about it because she'd been ill. She's been vomiting a lot, and she's hardly eaten all week, just picking at her food and eating a few mouthfuls here and there
