It's just a bit of fun, what harm can it do? After all it's only Spin the Bottle.
That was exactly what Jaime thought as she played a unique game of Spin the Bottle with her three male friends but what she didn't realize was that it would lead to h...
I stared up at the screen in awe as a tiny little human came into view on the monitor. There was another human growing inside of me, another human that was completely relying on me to keep them alive and healthy, and it was both fascinating and terrifying at the same time. The small room was filled with the sound of my baby's heartbeat and at that very moment, it all became real.
''Baby looks perfectly healthy, coming along just fine'' the nurse said with a smile
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. Both Dean and Seth were busy and couldn't make the scan, but I kept them updated and asked if the nurse could print off some photos for them. Before the first scan, the three of us had agreed to find out who the father was, however when I arrived for the test, I was told that the of the test could cause a miscarriage, so I immediately decided against it.
''Would you like to know the sex?'' The nurse asked me
We hadn't discussed whether to find out the sex of the baby before the birth, and Seth and Dean seemed happy enough to let me decide. I had been thinking about it and at first I didn't want to know. Life had so few surprises and I wanted this to be one of them, but the further my pregnancy progressed, the more I felt the urge to prepare for the baby's arrival and knowing the sex of the baby would help me do that.
''Yes please'' I replied
''Ok'' the nurse smiled as she re-positioned the pedal and studied the monitor for a few seconds. ''You're having a boy''
A boy, a baby boy. It was all I could think about as I left the hospital and got into my car. I couldn't wait to tell Seth and Dean the news. Today was the last day I'd spend with Seth before he had to go back on the road and I had to go back home so it was going to be extra special now I had news of the gender and some new scan photos to show him. My work had granted me maternity leave, and I was so thankful that they kept me employed, but I was also bored out of my mind being at home by myself. My focus was on the baby and making sure I gave him the best start possible. After about an hour, I pulled into the hotel parking lot and got out of my car, reaching into my back pocket as I felt my phone buzz.

I smiled and immediately typed out a reply. I grabbed my purse and nudged the door shut with my hip. I didn't even bother to look where I was going as I walked towards the entrance, too caught up in excitement and texting Seth back to look where I was going.
* * * Seth
I placed my phone back down on the bench in my locker room and continued to get changed out of my ring gear. Jaime had a scan today and had texted me, saying that she had some scan photos to show Dean and me, so Dean had agreed to come to our hotel room so that we could see them together.
-KNOCK-KNOCK-
''Come in'' I yelled as I zipped up my gym bag
''Hey'' Dean said as he came in
Dean and I had been getting on a lot better since Jaime told him about her pregnancy and I was glad; I hated fighting with him.
''You ready to go?'' he asked
''Yep let me-" my phone cut me off as it rang ''Just a sec'' I said as I answered the phone
* * * Dean
I watched as all the color drained from Seth's face.''Is-is she okay?''
My heart pounded in my chest. Please don't let Jaime be hurt, I silently prayed
''Thank you. I'll be right there'' Seth.
"What's wrong?" I asked immediately
''It's Jaime'' Seth mumbled. ''She's been in an accident''
I wasn't a religious man. In fact, the last time I even stepped inside a church was when my mother took me one Sunday when I was about five years old. However, as I was waiting for news on Jaime's condition, I was silently praying that she and the baby would be alright.
