So, this is my first story and it probably won't be that good but... Yeah. Enjoy
Disclaimer: I don't own any characters. I am not Rick Riordan (that was obvious)
Katie's POV
I'm not going to scream. I refuse to get angry. They want me to yell, I struggle to remind myself.
"Stolls, come here. Now." My voice shakes slightly as I try to keep my composure."Yes, Katie Kat?" Travis raises his eyebrows with mock-innocence.
"This is not ok," I say, gesturing to the blue paint dripping off of my cabin walls. "Clean it up now," I add with a dangerous edge to my voice.
"And if I don't?" Asks Travis, taking a step forwards me while Connor smirks behind him.
"Do you really want to find out, Stoll?" I finally raise my voice, frustrated and painfully aware of the heat rising in my face.
"Thank the gods, she's even scarier when she's not yelling," Connor laughs.
I take a step forward and narrow my eyes, "I am so sick of you guys! Can't you grow up already?" I exclaim to the somewhat taken aback Stoll brothers. "You're the worst one, Travis. You know what I hate about you?" I ask, close enough to slap him across the face.
"I'm sure I do," He rolls his eyes and walks away. Connor follows with a slightly confused look on his face.
I walk into my cabin, slamming the door behind me. "What in Hades did I do to deserve this?" I ask no one in particular.
"Isn't it obvious?" my sister, Miranda, laughs. "A certain someone wants to talk to you, and- like a child- pranks you to get your attention." She says, as if waiting for me to catch on. I stare blankly, not quite comprehending what she's trying to say. She sighs in exasperation and decides to spell it out for me, "Katie, Travis Stoll likes you."
I blink in shock, "Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" I wrinkle my nose at the ridiculous notion. "There is no way in Hades Travis Stoll likes me," I mumble as I walk away.
Travis's POV
She hates me. Let the record show, I knew it all along. It's Connor's fault for giving me false hope that she would ever like me back in the first place. But I think after being told for the 3rd time this week, the point has hit home. She hates me. "Told you," I say to him as we enter our cabin."She didn't mean it," he shrugs. "She was just mad." Seeing I still wasn't convinced he adds, "She only yelled at you."
"What?" Baffled, I look over at him. "How is that supposed to help?"
He rolls his eyes and explains, "I did just as much damage as you, but she hardly even looked my way. Wouldn't she be mad at both of us if this was really just about the prank?" He smirks "Maybe she likes you."
Yeah, right.
I hope you guys like it so far. Comment any thoughts and I'm terribly sorry if I stink at writing.
