Travis's POV
Ugh "I already have her, how will you stop me?" I ask cockily

"Sweetheart, we control the lake. You can't move a muscle without our say so here." Well, this stinks.

"I wore the same socks for two weeks once" I say randomly, hoping that counts as a secret. They shake their head. I come up with an idea, I can't tell if it's genius or suicide but I have to try "I'm the one that keeps putting candy wrappers in the lake" I say boldly

Their smiles fall and a few gasp I hear a chorus of "I can't believe I liked you?" "Get him out!" "Eeeewwww I hate you!" "Out of my lake, now!" And "stupid demigod! Get the Hades out of this water!"

"Gladly" I smirk and swim out of the water as fast as I can, which isn't very fast considering I'm holding Katie with one arm

I pull Katie onto the dock and start shaking her "Katie wake up." She doesn't stir "Katie? Are you okay?" I shake her more "Katie! Wake up! I'm disturbing your sleep, don't you hate me for that?" I ask "please don't be dead! I need you here to be mad at me and say you hate me and tell me what I'm doing wrong! So, you can be confused because I kiss you. I need you to say you hate me and I need to tell you I love you. Just say you hate me, please" I say, not thinking and she starts to cough

She looks up at me and I breathe a sigh of relief "I hate you, Travis Stoll" she says and I smile in spite of myself "you know what I hate about you? I hate your pranks and your immaturity, I hate how you tell me what to do." She smiles at me a little, that radiant smile that lights up her face and makes me feel light-headed, the smile that makes me forget about everything but her, "but the thing I hate most of all is how I don't hate you. I don't hate you. At all." And with that she kisses me

I think I might pass out! This is the best day of my life! She pulls away, blushing wildly. She looks so cute when she blushes. "I hope you realize I'm still going to prank you." I smirk

"Shut up-" she starts but is interrupted when I kiss her again
