The people in Japan, well they are all different. You can have an aggressive character, a calm character, or anything. It's fine if your character is aggressive.
However, crime rates in Tokyo are pretty low but that doesn't mean crimes don't happen in Tokyo. They do happen but not very frequently.
So yeah, make your character whoever you want it to be!
Could be one who likes manga, one who dislikes manga, and stuff like that.

The pressure in Japan is pretty high. One mistake in public and all eyes will be on you! That's why I can't afford to make mistakes out in public.

The main food there should be sushi, tempura, ramen, udon, soba! For sushi, there are sushi that have raw pieces. They are meant to be eaten raw and not disguised by rich sauces.
Here are some words for your Japanese character to use in a restaurant:
maguro : tuna
tako: octopus
maguro daijobu?
まぐろだいじょぶ?
(roughly translated to : is tuna okay?)
(check, please : okaikei onegai shimasu )
o-kai-kei-o-ne-ga-i-shi-mas
Remember, no tipping !

I didn't really go to school in Japan so I don't know but the uniforms there are not like the anime that show the boobs of females and the butt and stuff like that.
