Seven - Party rock

I go to the kitchen with a smile on my face. "Wow, you changed your mood really fast" John says with his eyes popping "I'm feeling better now so can you please not ruin that?". I sit on the table and my mom puts a plate in front of me. I see a lot of vegetables and I instantly remember of that dinner I had with the guys and laugh.

"What are you laughing about?" my mom asks.

"Oh nothing, I just remembered something", I pick up my fork and start eating.

"Wanna share with us?"

"It's nothing, it's just this food remembers me from my yesterday's dinner with the boys"

"You really like them, don't you?"

I blush "Mom please, they're guys and guys make girls suffer"

"But I know you like them, specially Wes" she smiles like she knows something.

"What? Why do you say that?" I frown.

"I saw something on the internet"

Great, my mom saw the photo. "Oh mom stop, please". I put an end on this because I'm starting to get embarrased. My dad looks at me without saying a word, I guess he's not liking this conversation. I finish dinner and go to my room. I check my phone and I have a message from Carol "Hey baby girl, hope you're feeling better now. I just wanted to know if you wanna come to the boys' house, Keaton invited us to go, they're having a little party for some friends. Call me so I can tell him our decision, love you". A party. I don't wanna go but I know Carol does and if I don't go she won't go either. I decide to make an effort and call her saying I'll go. She gets super excited and I tell her to come meet me here at my place. I look around my closet and put on my oversized shirt, some ripped jeans, my new york beanie and my red vans. I comb my hair and tie it to one side. I skip makeup. I'm thinking to myself, if they're having a party, why didn't Wes invited me? This thought is interrupted when Car knocks on the door "Hi girl friend, are you ready? This is going to be awesome!!!" her voice comes out like a bugle,  "Relax, you're over excited" "You're right" "Actually I don't wanna go but I know you do so I'm going just because of you" "Nawwwwwwww I love yoooou" she hugs me and I almost suffocate. I look at her and she looks absolutely stunning, she's wearing a black crop top, a skater skirt, black boots and she has a head scarf with his hair tied. Then I look at me and I look completely miserable. We're the opposite.

"It looks like someone is getting all the boys tonight, you look so beautiful Car Car" I sight.

"Shut up Mads, you're beautiful! But yeah, your clothes are a little bit unappropriated for this occasion, let me see what do you have in your closet". She opens my closet and start pulling off some clothes. She puts me on a black skater skirt, along with a crop shirt, some high socks and black boots. I took off my beanie and let my hair fall naturally. "Do you think this looks good on me? It's not really my style..." I say to her while I'm looking to myself in the mirror

"Are you kidding me? You look freaking amazing omg"

"I don't know..."

"Wesley's gonna like it for sure" she blinks at me.

"What? I'm not trying to impress anyone tonight, you saw what I had on before this outfit" I try to hide my embarrassment.

"Yeah, whatever. Let's go bitch". She pulls me by an arm and we start going downstairs. I ask my mom if I can take her car and by miracle she says yes. I start jumping of excitement, not because of the party but because my mom let me took her car. We hurry up getting in the car and when we're inside I notice that we don't know where their house is.

"Car, where the fuck is their house?"

"Right, I totally forgot about that. But no worries, I'm gonna call Keaton so he can give us the directions"

"Come on then". She calls Keaton and he stills on the other side until we get to their place. I park along the driveway and what it was be a "little party" turns out to be a huge party. We get out of the car and there's some people staring at us. We try to look cool and when we see Keaton we start running in his direction. He guides us to inside the house and there I see Wesley and Drew. They're both talking to some friends. Wes sees me coming and waves me.

"Oh my god Claire..." he says.

"What idiot?" I frown.

"You look so hotttt". He looks at me and I feel a little intimidated

I blush "Thanks, you look good too". He didn't just "look good", he looks smoking hot.

Suddenly I feel two hands around my hips. I turn around to see who is it and it's Drew. He also looks amazingly hot. This guys are trying to kill me.

"Gosh Mads, you look good. And your friend over there too".

"Yeah, she made me put this clothes on. Before this I had something more like my style, but I like it though" I smile.

"It looks well on you" he smiles back. Then Wes introduces me to his friends Kyle and Kenny. After a few minutes of conversation, we sat down to talk about what he did for me today.

"Wes I just wanna say thank you. I-" he cutts me off, "No, don't say thank you. I did it because I care about you and I don't like to see you sad". I grin at him while he passes his hand through my hair "But seriously, thank you". Then we stand up and he offers me a drink. I normally don't drink alcohol but this is a party and the only thing here to drink is that. We dance and talk and I'm having a really good time. When I turn around I see Carol all drunk and all over Keaton. He seems to like her and so does she. "You're brother kinda likes Carol, doesn't he" I say to Wes, "Yes, he's always talking about her now, he doesn't shut up" "They look cute together" "Whatever" "Hey I need to go to the bathroom, where is it?" "Come with me, I'll show you". He takes me by the hand and we make our way upstairs. "There" "Thanks". When I'm about to open the door he says something "I'm loving this process of knowing you better Claire" "You're so drunk Wes" I laugh. He smiles and I get into the bathroom. After a couple minutes, he's still waiting for me. When I get closer to him he hugs me and I know he's not okay. He's completely drunk. I grab him and put on of his arms around my shoulders. Then I take him to a room and lay him there. He pull me close to him and whispers on my ear "You're amazing". I give him a little kiss on the cheek and say goodbye to him. I let him there and make my way to Carol. I tell Keaton his brother his drunk and that he's in a room sleeping. "I think it's better for us to go now, she doesn't seem very well though" I say while I grab Car. "Sure Madison, thanks for coming" I say goodbye to him and make my way to the car. "T-This party was fucking awesome" her voice comes out weak "Shut up, you can't go home like this, you're spending the night with me". I put her on the car and then I realize I haven't said goodbye to Drew. I run over to the party again and Drew is already standind in front of the door "I thought you forgot about me" he looks sad and that makes me feel sad and bad about myself "No, I didn't, is just that Carol is drunk and I needed to-" he stops me and hugs me "I know silly, I was just kidding". His warm body next to mine makes me smile. We stand there for a couple minutes and then I said I needed to go. He nod and said goodbye. I get in the car and drive our way back home.

Everyone's sleeping so I try to do the less noise I can but with Carol laughing all the time it's impossible. Slowly I take her to my room and lay her on my bed "Thanks Madi, you're the best" she says before falling asleep "Yeah Car, you're welcome". I take off my boots and my outfit and put on my pj's. I get in bed and when I close my eyes, my mind just shuts down.
