Ethan pulled us outside the room, trying to get us out of that house as fast as he could. We reached the front door and he seemed to slow down a bit. He stopped, as a booming voice echoed through the halls.
"Ethan," his father started. "Stop." I watched as Ethan's face transformed into one of anger, his whole body freezing in his father's command. I turned my head, glaring at him as he descended down the stairs.
His smirk making the anger inside me burn even more. "Let us go." I told him, venom present in my words. He only smirked wider, advancing towards me at an incredible speed. Before I could do anything, he stood in front of me, his hand going to my neck.
He lifted me up, cutting my air ways. My hands wrapped around his wrist, my long nails digging into his skin. He didn't seem to be hazed by this, so I did what I swore never to do. My hands started heating up, my vision becoming blurry.
Almost imidiately, his eyes shone with fear and his arm turned red before turning black. He started screaming in agony, still not letting me go until his arm was turned into ash. He pulled away, holding whatever was left of it close to his chest.
"You witch!" he exclaimed, his other hand turning sharp. He charged towards me, but it seemed as though something else had taken over my body. I could see his every move clearly, as though it were happening in slow motion.
He struck out, the sharp end of his hand coming at my throat. Ethan yelled, his voice sounding pained as I grabbed onto his father's hand. I smiled evily, cocking my head to the side.
"You shouldn't have done that." I said, my voice sounding even lower than normal. I quickly pushed him away, sending him flying to the wall as he errupted in flames. His screams filling the whole place as he burned alive.
Slowly, I seemed to be able to gain control of my body again and my vision turned back to normal. I looked at Ethan, who stared at me in awe. He quickly pulled me closer to him, burring his face in my hair.
"Remind me never to get on your bad side." he whispered, kissing my forehead. I smiled, pulling away from him. His thumb traced a tear I hadn't realized had slipped out. I sniffled, looking from him to Indy. Sarah walked into the room, her eyes raking every inch of it. Her gaze lingered on the burnt spot on the wall before she advanced to us.
"I'm so sorry." I said, my voice trembling in fear. She smiled sadly at me before pulling me into a hug.
"I've been wanting to get rid of him for a while now dear." she said. I smiled, wrapping my arms around her and willing myself not to cry.
"Nia," Ethan said, taking my hand. I turned to look at him, his eyes seemed to dance with happiness. "We can now be together without any problems. I promise to love you and never leave you again." he whispered, pulling me into his arms.
I smiled, touching my head to his forehead. "I love you Ethan." I said, kissing him passionately. There was a small disgusted noise next to us and I pulled away.
"Get a room!" Indy yelled, turning to look at her grandmother. We both started laughing before I took he rinto my arms.
"I love you too baby." I said, kissing her cheek as Ethan wrappe dhis arms around us.
