Prodigy's POV:

To be honest, it felt good leaving Chanel like that. I mean, the poor girl was looking so desperate for some attention. Why does she have to bother me? Is it because I'm tough and she likes that? If so, I guarantee you by the end of the day, she'll be thrilled with me.

"It seems like it's always Monday, man!" Roc told me as we drove to the school. "And hey, man what happened with you and Chanel last Friday night?" He said with a smirk on his face.

I sighed and said, "I dropped her off at home. That's it. Girl was acting like she was scared to breathe or something."

"You had Chanel Edwards scared!? How do you do that, Prod?"

"Simple." I said while parking my car. "Be me."

Roc and I started laughing as we got out of the car. Once we started walking inside the school, a whole bunch of people came running over to congratulate us on how we won the Championship Game last week. I didn't see Chanel anywhere and I figured that she got the picture.

Once the crowd died down, Roc and I split ways so I could go to my locker before Homeroom. Right when I closed my locker, I saw Chanel at the end of the hallway, smiling at me. Maybe she didn't get the picture. So, I tried my best to ignore her and began walking to class.

"Prodigy!" She called, but I didn't answer.

"Boy, I know you hear and see me right here."

"And that's the problem." I muttered.

"What did you say?" She said softly.

"Nothing Chanel, now leave me alone!" Finally I was able to walk away from her and get to class.

LUNCH

I sat with Roc as we began eating our pizza. I looked around and noticed how everybody was whispering and looking at me the whole time. I just brushed it off and kept on eating.

"Yo man. Why everybody keep looking at us, Prod?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing, Roc."

Then, as if on cue, the door to the lunch room opened up wide as Jamie and Chanel walked through. Jamie looked at me and it seemed as though she mouthed "I'm sorry" to me. I was so confused that I didn't even see Chanel march to Roc and I.

"Roc, move!" He was gone before she could even finish her statement.

"And as for you, Golden Boy, I've had enough of your bull this week! Don't think that I don't know what you did!" She knows about the bet with Mya?

"Well if you're so smart, why don't you tell everybody what it is that I did to you, missy!? Cause as far as I know, I haven't done anything to you, yet." I said while getting in her face.

"Okay. I will!" I looked up as Chanel got on top of the table, stepping all into my half-eaten pizza.

"Oh, no!  If somebody don't get this trick off of my food that I paid for with my own money, then I know something!"

Chanel turned to me and slid my plate off onto the floor. "And if somebody don't tell this jackass here to mind  his own damn business, someone won't be able to have any kids!"

By now, Chanel and I are face to face, body to body, soul to soul. The tension is so deep that you can't even cut it. The bell rang and the entire lunch room stayed still. All eyes were on us, and our eyes were on each other. Chanel finally stepped down and everybody began to leave for class. Before she walked out she mumbled something to me.

"Jackass."

"Trick."

That was an interesting attitude check...
