Starr woke up to find herself in Cole's arms. It felt so good to be in his arms, Starr thought. She never wanted to be separated from Cole again. Or Hope either. But just as Starr and Cole were about to make love in her hospital bed, Blair and Todd knock on her door.
"Come in." Starr said, composing herself before her visitors came in.
"Starr! Cole!" a frantic Blair, with Todd by her side said.
"What's wrong, mother?" Starr asked, concerned.
"It's Hope!" Blair said, distraughtly.
"What's wrong with her?" Cole and Star said in unison.
"She's been kidnapped!" Blair said, about to fall, but Todd caught her before she could fall.
"Who would take Hope?" Starr said in disbelief.
"Well, they left a note." Todd said, handing his daughter the note Blair found.
Starr took the note from her father and read it:
"Dear Starr,
If you want to see your daughter again, meet me in our favorite spot."
The note wasn't signed, but Starr knew who it was.
"It's Stefan." Starr said.
"Are you sure?" Todd asked, with Cole nodding along with him.
"Yes, dad, I'm positive." Starr explained. "Stefan hasn't given up on us. He still wants me."
"Well, I will go with you." Todd demanded. "I don't want you to go alone."
"Dad, that's nice of you, but I think I can handle Stefan myself." Starr told her father, touched by his care. "Besides, Stefan won't want anyone but me there."
"Then, you'll wear a wire." Todd demanded.
"I agree with your father." Cole told Starr.
"Okay. I'll wear the wire." Starr promised, getting up from her hospital bed and getting her clothes.
"Whoa, where are you going?" Todd said.
"I'm getting dressed so I can meet Stefan and get my daughter back."
"But you're recovering."
"I need to get my daughter." Starr protested. "That's all that's matters right now."
Meanwhile, Stefan looked in on a sleeping Hope in the crib he had gotten her while waiting for Starr to show up.
"Well, Hope, your mommy will be here soon." Stefan said to Hope. "And we will finally be a family."
