Dr. Michael McBain comes out of surgery with news for Starr and Cole.
"Michael, how is Hope?" Starr and Cole asked, frantic.
"She came through surgery just fine. She's in recovery right now. I expect a full recovery. Before you go in to see her, Hope will be a little groggy and sleepy."
"Thank you, Michael, for everything!" Starr said, with gratitude.
"It's nothing, Starr. Now go in and see your daughter." Michael demanded.
Starr and Cole go in first to see Hope. She is still hooked up to a respirator. Starr goes over to Hope's crib and holds her hand.
"Hey, there, Hope. Mommy and daddy are here."
Cole pulls up a chair on the other side of the bed and holds Hope's other hand. Starr holds Cole's other hand and they sit in silence praying for comfort and strength.

Stefan is watching from his video monitor disappointed that Hope has made a full recovery from the shooting. Stefan shakes his fist at the monitor.
