The Untold Prophecy

Shadow yawned tiredly as she stretched and took a big whiff of moist air, for she could not open her eyes just yet. She could smell two other presences and was very curious as to see who they were. With a determined yip, she kept to her feet only to fall flat on her face.

Theresa heard a loud thunk coming from her right and a loud yelp, she tried to help but couldn't see a thing! In result she skidded across the dark cave and landed on her butt, her tail in between her legs.

Tora just curled up in a ball and fell asleep.

"I-Is anybody there?" Shadow asked timidly as she stuck her nose into the air trying to find her new companions.

"I AM!" Theresa burst into flames as she stood up immediately, only to fall back down once again.

Tora grunted, "I'm here too" and flickered open her eyes.

"Hey! I opened my eyes guys! Just try it!" Tora suddenly purred as she started to tumble, trying to catch herself, only to trip over her feet and fall flat on her face.

Shadow, trying to regain her composer, peeled open her eyes and stood up. "Why do you guys keep falling?" She growled trying to be cool.

Theresa laughed and also opened her wet eyes, " You're the one who fell first!" Tora grunted in agreement.

Tora gave a sarcastic laugh, "Cause we didn't fall either!" Shadow snickered and Theresa looked away in embracement only to realize something.

"Hey guys... what's your names? Heck what's my name?!"

"Dunno" Tora said.

"Hey! What are those squarish things? Do they have are names on them?" She asked 'smartly', sticking her nose out toward the plaques.

Tora walked up to hers and stared at it. Although she was a newborn, she could magically read what it said! "Tora..." she spoke the new word with power.

Theresa sat up once again and hobbled over to the plaque. "Hey guys! It says my name is Theresa! Ooo I like that name! Although it is a mouthful isn't it? Hmm how'bout you call me.... Tessa!" She babbled loudly.

Shadow stuck her nose up and her chest out and proudly strided over to the plaques.
Shadow look at the plaque and startled look came over her face, "Shadow... what in interesting name..." they all stared at each other with questioning looks until Tessa broke the silence.

"Well its nice to meet you Shadow and Tora" Tessa said in a loud voice.

"Nice to meet u too" Shadow said proudly. Tora simply nodded as they went into the middle of the cave, and began to talk, completely oblivious to the pair of red eyes gleaming from the depths of the cave.
