She was growing tired of his mysteriousness.
Everyday for the past few weeks he had came into the store, acting mysterious and saying a short hello. He still hadn't said a good bye to her.
Today Val was working with the hardest glare. If looks could kill, everyone would drop like flies at her glare.
She was beyond pissed today because she knew he would most likely come in and be an egotistical asshole.
Her predictions were right, because he walked in making his drink. Sam headed to the counter and paid for the drink.
He noticed something was wrong with the (usually) sweet girl behind the counter.
"Everything alright love?" He asked, resting his body on the counter.
"Just peachy" she spoke with venom. Yes he did say something else but she was still sick of his game.
"Really? Because it looks otherwise" he said smirking.
Right now she was trying to resist the urge to beat him to a pulp. Instead of beating him physically, she did it verbally.
"Look you egotistical asshole. If I say something is peachy, it is. Plus who are you to say that I'm not?" She said glaring at him.
Shocked? Yes he was.
