As Val exited the shower dressed, she was greeted by a surprise.

There stood her mother, one of her friends and two policeman. They were all arguing.

"What is going on?" Val said in confusion. She knew what this all meant and her heart was slowly shattering yet again.

"I told you to stay away and you didn't! You're coming with me and I'll see you in court Sam!" Valerie's mother shouted through the house.

She grabbed Val by her wrist and dragged her out the room kicking and screaming. Val managed to get a quick hug from Sam but was pulled apart.

The last she saw of Sam on that day was his being put in cuffs.

"Mum! What's going on? Why are they cuffing him? Please stop!" Val said crying and trying to run free. She couldn't though.

"He's going to go to prison. He raped you and your a minor. It's illegal Valerie and I will not have it" Val's mum said while pushing Val in the car.

Val just did what she was told crying her little heart out. She felt numb, weak and fragile. She just wanted to be wrapped in Sam's arms.
