Chapter 4 – The VIP Experience

"Hi, what's your name?" Dustin asked while shaking her hand.

"Hi I'm Sadie" she reply's as she tries not to go total fan girl.

She couldn't take her eyes off him, that's when he noticed the shirt and reads it,

"oh you calling dibs on me? I'll have to tell Kelsea" he said with a big smile on his face.

"Yes I am, and just like in that song, they can all back off too" Sadie responded while giving him a playful smile. The look on his face told her he liked that answer.

Next it was picture time, as he stuck his arm out she quickly took her place wrapping one arm around him placing her hand on his waist. Her hands on his body felt pretty darn good, so she took it a step further and brought her other hand up and planted it on his chest. Was she losing it or did he just pull her in a little tighter when she did that? After the photo was taken he said something she wasn't expecting, "can we take one more, I want the shirt to show in this one?" the camera lady agreed and Sadie certainly had no objections. Once the second photo was taken, she wanted to make sure she said some things that she had planned to say. She first wanted to say how glad she was that he chose Virginia as his first stop on the tour. He said with how great the show turned out last night in Richmond and he felt tonight would be just as awesome he thought it was a great state to start off in as well.

"Were you at one of the Luke shows this summer?" Dustin asked

"As a matter of fact, yes I was, the second night" Sadie replied as she pulled out a photo from her back pocket.

"I brought this photo I took at that show, it's my favorite photo from that night, thought you might like to have it?" she said handing the picture over, while staring into his beautiful blue eyes, they were so mesmerizing she could get lost in them. Focus Sadie focus she thought to herself.

"It appears I am looking right at you" He said

"you were, I was wearing your shirt there too, the one with your picture on it, I guess I stood out in a crowd of Luke shirts" she told him.

"That does indeed stand out, and how about I sign this for you instead?" he asked, which surprised her since the email she got telling her how to get her VIP items said he wouldn't be signing.

"That'd be great" she responded.

"So I hear there's a hot tub here in the back somewhere, have you gotten in it yet?" Sadie asked once he finished signing the photo.

"There is, and no not yet, but I definitely will before I leave" Dustin answered.

"Maybe I could join you for a little after party?" she asked giving him a flirty smile, as she had slipped in a song title of his. "After party" was a song she loved because of the lyrics let's throw a little after party, baby just me and you. He just laughed at that and said how I cleverly slipped the title in.

She figured she had taken up enough of his time, so she asked if she could get one more hug before she left, he said sure and she wrapped her arms around him and gave a good squeeze. His arms around her felt really good, she didn't want to let go, but before she did she planted a little kiss on his cheek lingering just long enough for him to feel it. With his height it was perfect because she didn't have to stand on her tipey toes to reach.

As she walked away and took her spot by the stage she couldn't believe that all just happened. She was proud of herself for being able to talk in his presence. She just really hoped she stood out somehow from everyone else, at least she didn't grab his butt, which he was probably use to girls doing in those meet and greets. Not that Sadie didn't appreciate those tight jeans, it's just she wasn't the type to grab it, take a picture of it on stage however she definitely would do and had done a lot of in the past at other concerts.

Once everyone was done in the line, Dustin ran over and hopped up on the stage to start his acoustic performance. His first song was "middle of nowhere" which was another favorite of Sadie's, he told how that song was about a girl who put him in the friend zone. That girl had to be crazy to put this gorgeous man in the friend zone Sadie thought to herself as she sang along. Next he took request from the audience, everyone started hollering out songs, "Hurricane" "cowboys and angels" "after party" and "mind reader" were some titles yelled out. Dustin decided on "mind reader" but right before he starts to tell the story of that song, when everyone else is quite Sadie gets this crazy idea to holler out a song. "Dibs" she yelled out. The people around her are confused until the look at her and then noticed her shirt. Dustin looks at her with a smile and says "ah dibs...ok" and then suddenly starts singing the song. Oh my gosh, no way I can't believe that worked! Sadie thinks to herself as she sings along with him and the whole time he's looking right at her.

He stopped there, he had changed the word boy to girl to be more appropriate. He literally stared at Sadie the whole time, at certain parts like the back off part she emphasized on that part, and also on the I know what I want line. He then went in to the story of "mind reader" and like in all those interviews Sadie had watched with him, he spoke to the ladies saying just to tell the men what they want, and last but not least he said "and it's a turn on when y'all make the first move too" and with that he looked Sadie's way and gave her a wink then began to sing the song. Holy crap he winked at me, guess some of the things I said, did stand out! She thought to herself with a huge smile on her face.

The final song for the acoustic set was "cowboys and angels", once he left the stage, Sadie went over to the T-Shirt booth to add yet another concert t-shirt collection. She chose the one that said "I had one hell of a night" on the front and had his name and picture on the back. When she got back to her spot she was thinking it was still pretty dang cold in there, so she sent out a tweet "omg It's so cold in here, I think I need @dustinlynch to come back out and warm me up" and she hash tagged it with hell of a night tour and dibs so by chance if he saw it he'd know It was her. As she was going through the pictures she had just taken on her phone, she got a notification, omg he saw and liked my tweet! She was so shocked and excited, but there was still more. Another notification showed up, he had followed her as well! With all that excitement she couldn't wait for the show to start.
