The small little boy with a little white hat around his head with bunny ears spouting out. Ran up a small hill to catch up to his best friend "Taurtis!!" Then little boy shouted looking over the hills horizon to see another boy eating his bento under the shade of a maple tree. " H-hey Sam! " the little boy replied a face full of rice.
"H-hey....Taurtis....you might wanna stop eating for a moment. What I'm about to say is really sad..." the boy now named Sam said sadly. " Yeah? What is it? " the boy named Taurtis now replies.
"W-well you see.....Uhmmm. Taurtis....."
"C'mon Sam! You can tell me!"
"A-ahh well you see.....M-my family's moving to America...." After that, Taurtis froze on spot. His little hands moving to his eyes to wipe away some tears "R-really....when are you leaving" He managed to choke out. " T-Tommorow....we already packed..." Sam replied showing sadness seeping in his voice " W-well then I guess this will be our last day together...." Taurtis spoke
" I-I guess.....But what ever happens we must always stay best friends FOREVER! " Sam spoke trying to lighten the mood
" Let's promise! Uhhhh...here!" Handing Sam a marker Taurtis kept talking " Write your name right here under the stump of this tree! And I'll write my name next to it!" " Alright ..." Sam got down on his knees and wrote his name on the back of a rock " There! Now we will always be together! "
"Best friends FOREVER!" The two boys said in unison
That was the last memory Taurtis ever had of his friend Samuel Gladiator.
