New School Year

*Sam's Pov*

Being me, I woke up pretty early.Looking to my right I saw Taurtis asleep on his side of the room, I smiled at this. Taurtis snored slightly in his sleep, it was adorable, I shifted from under the sheets of my comfortable bed to standing on the cold hardwood floor. Sighing I walked over to the clock hanging on the wall over looking everything in the room, I checked the time. ".....4 'o' Clock...." After mumbling those words I let them sink into my brian. Oh.My.God......we've got school in a couple of hours. I scrambled out of the room and downstairs, made me some breakfast and turned the T.v on. Chewing through my food I read the words in big bold letters . " Increase in murders around the Tokyo region ".....I let the words sink in a bit, that was before I realized something "....Hey,wait.....I haven't even started-- " "-Mornin' Sam...." I looked over at the staircase to see Taurtis drearily sludge down the stairs. " Morning sleepyhead. You're up early. " I smiled at his as he walked over to the kitchen getting the cereal out." First, You're up early too. And second, it's already 6. How long are you gonna take with that cereal?" Taking in his words looked over at the clock ' 6:04 ' Damn.....time goes by so quickly....." Oi, Sam, snap outta it. Go get dressed already. " O-Oh, uhhhh, yeah. Sorry 'bout that." I soon stood up and took my dishes over to the bench, to be washed later on, and headed upstairs to get changed.....I think I put my uniform in my bedside drawer....

*Taurtis' Pov*

I munched on my breakfast as I watched the tv. It wasn't until I heard a loud thump, that I stood up and finished my food. " Owww, Stupid pants..." Did Sam say that? I headed upstairs to see what the commotion was all about." Hey Sam, are you alright?......U-uhhhh..." Sam was standing next to his bed trying to do something....but his pants kept falling down." Oh! Hey Taurtis, do you know where my belt is? " Okay....now that explains a lot..." Oh! Nevermind, it was in my bag." As Sam turned around I noticed a little......white ball of fur....wagging on the back side of his hips." U-UHH....Sam, What's that? " I pointed down at the little ball of fluff. " Oh, forget about that. It's just my tail. " D-did he say tail? Is he like a hybrid or something? " Nevermind that! Taurtis hurry up and get change, otherwise we'll be late." Looking over at the time I saw that he was right. It was already 6:30. " Yeah go and wait for me down stairs then. " " 'Kay.."
As I watched Sam head down stairs I grabbed my under-shirt and started changing.

"New school year...."
