Before you go read this chap, if any information in this chapter about Shadow and wearing a dress is wrong, don't bother correcting it, because to put it out there SHE HAS NEVER WORN A DRESS AS OF NOW. Thx. :3 Just pretend, if she has.
Damn. I can't even remember what my own characters wear. O_o
"No."
"Shadow, pleeeease!"
"No- oh, Jenny. No. Don't- no, not the kitten eyes- oh damn, please no- no, not the eyes- oh fuck me, I'LL DO IT!!"
Jenny did a big, crazy dance of happiness and her effulgent eyes (Jams: brilliant, radiant, bright and happy) shone gleefully. "Goin' on a double date! Goin' on a double date!" She sung. I grumbled under my breath and folded my arms with a scowl. James was face planted asleep on the grass - he'd been sniffing it before, in his canine form (baby Grim, I called it), and obviously fallen asleep to the smell of nature. I gave his pelt a little stroke and grimaced at how matted his fur was.
"I'm going to regret asking, but why does my baby look so glum and Jenny look so joyful?" Shade's sexy voice cut through Jenny's singing and I perked up, then immediately slumped back down in decidedly negative emotions. "Oh great. I was hoping you'd been snatched up by a dragon and eaten by leprechauns." I grumbled, and Jenny pouted at me before skipping around Shade with an even bigger smile. He'd been sent to stay with me for a couple of days, by my dad, of course, but it was just to make sure I was alright in terms of mental stability, not safety that time.
Shade frowned at me and sat beside me, pulling me onto his lap. His hand slipped up my shirt slightly and his splayed fingers rested on my belly, while the other was on my backside. I raised an eyebrow and his lips grazed my ear, "That's not very nice, mea lux." I shivered at how his words drifted through my senses, his touch just sending my thoughts haywire. I puffed, "Jenny somehow-" I gave her an exceptionally hard glare, "-convinced me to go on a double date." Shade's eyebrows knitted together and I expanded, "Her and Draco, and you and me." He nodded and kissed my cheek, his lips lingering on my cheek, "And why's that a problem?" He inquired.
I spotted Jenny eyeing us with a successful smirk and glint in her eyes in my peripheral vision, but I turned my attention back to Shade. "Because Draco is a jerk, and Jenny doesn't see that." I heard her scoff but ignored it. Shade stole a kiss to my lips before I could stop him and he grinned, "You thought I was a jerk before you knew me like you do now." He wiggled his eyebrows and I gave him an unimpressed look that made him cough awkwardly. "You were a jerk." He scoffed. "Still are." He gave my butt a good squeeze and I yelped, narrowing my eyes at him. "Not helping." I growled through gritted teeth.
"Perfect, Jenny. We'll meet you here at five tonight." Shade confirmed and Jenny giggled before practically bounding off to tell Draco about everything. I absent mindedly stroked James' fur again, getting used to its texture. Shade kept 'preening'my body and whispering words into my ear that made me shiver in pleasure but dread that night all the same.

"Wear something special for me, he says. Look beautiful, he says. Son of a bitch." I rambled on and on about how Shade kept implying he wanted me to wear a dress. I couldn't remember a time I'd worn a dress, if ever, because I was never into any of that... stuff. Jenny insisted upon it too, but I wasn't convinced I looked good enough. "Oh, shut it! You look dazzling, and I'm jealous of those curves." Jenny retorted, examining me. I scoffed but did as she said, and shut my mouth.
The black dress was flattering enough, but... I worried Shade wouldn't like it.
It wasn't loose, but it wasn't skin tight. It had no sleeves, but thin straps over the shoulders and on the side of the arm, and it had a wavy bottom that was higher at the front than it was at the back, exposing a little bit of my legs and my fitting black pumps. The actual dress was a soft material, but not quite silk or velvet, and the small V on the top revealed a little bit of the cleavage I had (not much, really, but I still had junk in the trunk, if you know what I mean...) but the part I liked the best, loved in fact, was the black band around my hair, that was slightly wavy and cascaded down my back like an obsidian waterfall, and that band had a large, oblivion black raven feather decorated with small glints of sparkling dust.
Jenny wore a rose red dress that flayed out slightly at the bottom, and the glimmering sparkles of her short sleeves, along with the feathered flame in her hair and the curling folds of her dress, made her look like a living fire, and boy did she pull it off. Her face was dusted with light makeup; mascara and a little eyeliner, and she wore the goddess look as if she was one herself. I, on the other hand, had made her stay away from my face. I hated makeup, still do, and Jenny knew the dress was enough without makeup. I had asked where she'd got all this stuff and she'd hushed me, saying it was of no matter, but I just laughed and carried on doing what I was doing.
"I'll meet you on the hill in ten minutes." She said to me gleefully before flitting clumsily out the doorway, avoiding the hallways in case Umbridge saw either of us.
I lingered in front of the mirror a few moments longer before I met up with Shade on the hill.
He had a black suit on, and a plain white button-up top with dress trousers and black shoes - simply effective in drawing my gaze to his handsome body, but his hair, oh! his hair, was messily strewn across his head and dangled in his eyes, giving him an air of mystery.I bit my lip nervously and he stared, dumbstruck, at my body. He wrapped his hands around my delicate waist, as if I would break easily, and breathed my natural scent deeply.
His eyes darkened gradually, "You, my love, are the most beautiful creature I have, and only ever will, lain eyes upon." He kissed my full lips lovingly and I blushed, "I love you." I whispered and he smiled, "I love you more, mea lux." I giggled softly, and together, we waited for Draco and Jenny to approach us from the dawning shadows of the land.
Oooh!! Shiz gonna go down next chap. :3
