After a long time of continuous running he finally found a small open pharmacy with its lights turned on. He rushed inside with the boy. He saw a girl at the counter.
"I'm sorry sir we are about to close" the girl said.
"Please... You must help him somehow... He seemed to have fainted after seeing something... All I heard was a scream and when I reached, I saw this boy astonished... Please help him" he pleaded to the girl.
"Oh... I'm not sure how much I can help, but I'll try" the girl replied.
They took the boy to an inside room where there was a bed, they made him lay there.
"Try pouring some water on him, see if he gives an response" the girl said.
He did as she said but he got no response. Then she checked his temperature with the thermometer, he seemed to have a fever.
"Hmmm... First we'll do something about this fever" she said as she brought an injection. She injected him with a medicine to reduce the fever.
"Do you know this boy?" She asked.
"No, I've never seen him from around here" he replied.
"Where did this happen?" She asked.
"Near the old... I mean just outside the neighbourhood" he said hesitantly as he did not want anyone to know that he was in the amusement park.
"Is he going to be ok?" He asked.
"Most probably, he seemed to have a Panick attack, that's what lead to the fever" she replied. "Anyway it's good to see people like you nowadays, who is willing to help others whom you know nothing about" she said, smiling at him.
"Can I take some rest here?" He asked her as he was sitting in a sofa.
"Ya sure, go ahead, I'll keep an eye on him" she replied, a little disappointed that she couldn't talk to him more. He had a quick nap and woke up early hearing the cries of a boy.
"Lemme go, Lemme go... She's after me" the boy was screaming as the girl tried to pull him back.
"What's going on?" He came in and asked.
The boy looked at him and screamed as loud as he could in fear. "No... Stay away... Please... Don't come any closer"
"Why are you afraid of him? He is the one who saved you" the girl told the boy while he was standing still with fear, just trembling.
Justin took a closer look and found it was not him that the boy was afraid of, it was something behind him. Justin turned around slowly. He saw something and he reached almost the same condition as that of the boy.
They saw something written on the wall with blood '1... 2... 3... Lucy's gonna get you all'
The girl saw it and she was frightened "what is this?" She asked Justin.
"I... Dont..." He was too overwhelmed to complete the sentence.
Then the boys neck was being squeezed by some kind of invisible force. He started screaming as he fell on the ground and tried to fight it. But the power was too strong, and after sometime his head came off and blood was sprayed everywhere.
The girl screamed as loud as she could. And as they watched, the blood flowed down and wrote in bold letters 'Lucy'.
"We gotta get out of here..." Justin shouted as he pulled the girl and ran outside. They both kept running.
"What I going on here?" The girl asked him in between the running.
"Don't you know about Lucy?" He asked her.
"No I'm new here, I started working only wo day's back" she replied.
"You didn't read the news paper?" He asked.
"No" she replied.
"This place is haunted by a ghost named Lucy, she attacks random people during the day and I though it was just a murderer just killing people for fun. But today I am sure that it's something supernatural" he told her.
"That's it, I'm don't with this place, I'm going back to New York" she replied while crying with fear.
"That's best for you" he replied.
Then they walked towards a coffee shop, which had just opened. They got in and had a cup of coffee. Justin started explaining a little bit about the things going on around. As they where talking Justin gazed through the window and saw Jesse doing her morning jog. He suddenly ducked under the table hoping she would go unnoticed. The girl looked back and asked him "who is that? What's wrong?"
"She shouldn't see me, she is a cop, I'll explain when she leaves" he told as kept his eyes on Jesse from under the table.
When she left, he slowly surfaced from under the table. He told her about his story. About how he became wanted and all.
An hour passed and she decides to leave. She must do her packing and start her arrangements to go back to New York. They both waved their hands at each other as they parted ways. Justin then slowly reaches to his pocket and takes out a mobile phone, which does not belong to him. It was the nurses phone. He flicked it while he was under the table. He started going through the different files, to get more details on her. He came to know a few things about her, but it was odd as he could not find any social media apps on her phone, either she was very clean or she was very secretive. So he just went through the photos, and it was mostly photos of she and her dog, as he kept going on, one photo caught his eyes, it was some writing on Latin or something, he just send that photo to his phone for future checking. Then he checked if there were any odd recent phone calls. He scrolled down on the recents, and it was mostly calls from "mom" and "Jason". Then one number with no name came up, it was a call from yesterday at 12:50pm. He stared at the number for sometime as it sort of seemed familiar. But then he didn't bother much as he though it was just his mind playing tricks. But still he decided to memorize the number, and he did. He walked off the coffee shop after dropping the phone on the floor.
He decided to just check his home, whether the cops have left or not. He was hiding in the bushes and just watching everything. He saw only one cop infront of the main door. He walked towards the cop, stealthily planning to take him out, he grabs the cop by the mouth and snaps his neck. He then got in and checked if anyone else was there, and it seemed to be clear. He just took a usb from a drawer and copied some files from his laptop, that include some of his research and some of his old pictures. Then as he was about to get out, he heard one of his drawer vibrate. He slowly went to check it. He opened the drawer as the clock in his house struck midnight.
