Lucy - the ghost that haunts the day

Day 7

He woke up with the smell of barbeque in the morning. He goes out behind the old shack and sees Frank barbequeing some chicken and some other meat.

"That smells amazing" Justin said while embracing the smell.

"Thanks, I don't usually share my food with anyone..." before he completed he looked at Justin and saw his face filled with happiness waiting for the food, "...and I am not planning to start now" he completed his sentence. Justin's smile fell down to a frown.

"Its ok can I have at least some water?" Justin asked.

"Sure there's a lake a few metres right to the shack" Frank replied by pointing the direction.

"K, thanks" Justin replied with an unsatistfied look and headed to the lake. He reached the lake and it was very beautiful. He saw fishes in the lake and decided to get some food for himself. He tried to catch for a long time, and finaly caught one average sized fish. He drank some water and took the fish back to the shack.

"Where'd you get that?" Frank asks.

"From the lake ofcourse" Justin replied.

"There haven't been a fish in the lake since two months back" he replied.

"Well maybe you haven't checked hard, cause there are lots of fish there" Justin informed him.

"Hmmmm, something is strange , let's go check" he said.

"Nah I went there once, now you go alone, if you are not afraid" Justin replied.

"I ain't afraid of anything" he replied and he rushed towards the river.

Meanwhile Justin decided to escape, he took some of the barbeque, left his fish there, and he ran away straight towards the city, he thinks that the police would search the forest for about 2 to 3 days and so he can use that time to find a good hiding spot without getting any attention.

He runs and runs as his lungs get more and more tiered. He seems to be lost as he is unable to find the way he used. He thought of going back as that was a better chance of him surviving than the forest. But he still stuck on to his decision of finding his way back.

After a long time just before night time he found the city. He waited until night fall, then he left to his home. On his way he was filled with rage, thinking about what Jesse had done to him. He wanted to go to her house and ask why she had done that, but he did not want to be caught.

He reaches the front of his door and just before he opens it he is suspicious. He wonders if the cops are there inside. He decides to take a look inside through the window and he finds that's his suspicion was correct, there where 3 cops searching for him inside his house. He started to run back again. He knew a few hiding places but still he felt no where in the city was safe. He is the reminded of lulu's cruelty. He thinks to himself that that's where he must go. He had already remembered the place where it was, so he straight away went there. He was sure about this place because only Jesse and himself knew about it, so unless Jesse shows up or She reports the area to the cops, he was pretty safe there.

After a long walk he reaches the amusement park and as Jesse told before, it had been abandoned for a long time. He climbs the wall and enters inside. He sees all the usual rides and different statues. But all was intact, no ride was seem to be broken. The atmosphere was as eerie as it could get. Even Justin, with all his desires to unfold the mystery, was very much scared. But he knew it was the bet place for him. He kept searching for something related to Lucy.

The wind seemed to strengthen as shivers where shaking him. Then a news paper flew by and hit him on the face. He checked the date and it was today's. He read the headlines and on the 3rd page he saw something which frightened him. The headlines read 'another one of Lucy's victim' and the picture given was that of the girl that was crying the other day. He felt sorry for her, but he now knew that sometimes Lucy informs before killing. He felt guilty of not helping her at that time.

The night kept getting darker and darker. He sat down on the side and read the rest of the newspaper. He found out that this girl did not have parents, she was an orphan and she was able to study hard and do some good business but she was also into some drug dealing and was put in prison for that, for two months until they found out she was innocent. Her business was affected by this misunderstanding and so she stopped her business and started to working in a fashion designing company.

Justin decided that since he knew this much about her from the paper he should investigate her past to find any hints of why Lucy targeted her.

Justin then spotted something on the paper. There was a picture of the writing 'Lucy' with blood. He started at it for sometime and his face was filled with suspicion.

"Hmmm..." He thought to himself. After a small something that he got he was determined to somehow enter the police station and get the previous Lucy attack reports.

He folded the paper piece and kept it in his pant pockets. Then as he looked up he noticed something. It was a broken roller coaster. The roller coaster was lowing on the ground and there was a very dry puddle of blood. He went closer to take a better look. He wondered cause it was the only thing that was broken in the whole amusement park. He went around the whole roller coaster to check for anything he can find, but he was in vain. But still he was sure that he found the reason for the amusement park to shut down. He then noticed a small hut behind him. Close to the entrance of the roller coaster, there was a board on top written in it was "lady roses fortune' he was curious to go inside but he wanted to wait till morning cause it would be pitch black.

H decided it was time to shut his eyes after a stressful day of running. He found a sweet place and rested his head in the cold. He was sure he had nothing but the moon looking at him.
