The day starts off again but the skies are filled with dark clouds and cold air, but that does not stop the sun from rising again. It rises with all its magnifisence yet there is no more the usual warmth, instead there is the cold atmosphere that sents shivers down the spines of everyone.
The people are still very scared as to what would happen the next day. They are unaware of who will be next on the list of Lucy. Many are packing to find a home somewhere else, this puts the city in danger of loosing it's population.
"What if this city becomes just a wasteland for the ghost" says the officer out of pure frustration sitting in his office chair with his colleagues listening.
"But sir" a women from the office speaks out. "The girl from yesturday was actually the grand daughter of the old man that was killed 2 months ago"
"So?" The officer asks with no hope of getting any relief from his stress. "What are you trying to get to Mrs. Jesse?"
"So maybe there is some relation between the deaths. Some path that we have not discovered yet", Jesse replies in wonder weather what she said was a good reply.
"Fine then, since you think you know the most among all of us, why don't you find Lucy" the officer replies with sarcasm.
The lady frowns knowing that she was made a fool of in front of all. She walks away with utter pain. Once she comes outside the police office, she meets up with someone familiar, to us.
"The point you brought out is spot on". The person from before, with the shabby look and lab coat, tells her. "And who are you to tell that, wait, how did you even come to know about what I said?" The lady questions him with curiosity.
"I was there when you told the idea, I came down before you" he replied with a smile on his face.
"Whats your name stranger and how did you get inside the office?" She questioned.
"I came with intension to talk to the officer but it seems it's better if I talk with you" he replied.
"And your name?" She insists to get his name.
"I'm Justin, your friendly mad scientist" he replies.
"Mad scientist?" She does not understand what he meant.
"Yeah, anyway forget about me, Mrs. Jesse, what do you say about working with me to find our friendly neighbourhood Lucy?" He brings out a thrilling suggestion.
"What? Are you mad? The whole of Cleveland's police department couldn't unsolve this. How do you expect me and you to uncover this?"
She questions with disbelief."Haha.....I know that, just kidding around" he states with a fake smile on his face.
"Hmmm. I have got to go, don't come here with such stupid ideas" the lady returns to her office.
Justin returns but he is sad that no one is willing to help him. He is thinking to himself ''I will avenge you even if I am alone''. Justin is headed to the forencic department to get some clues. He reaches and searches all the details about the previous deaths without any staffs noticing. He gets the copy of all the details in a usb and goes out. On the way he notices a room where an array of knives where kept. He thinks to himself ''so these are the knives that where used to kill all of them, hmmmm. 24 in total, but one is missing'' he leave with information he has collected. On his way to his villa he hears a scream. "What was that?" He runs to the scene of the scream. He saw a girl lieing on the road after fainting. He does not see any injury in her nor does he sight any unusual phenomenon nearby. He pics her up and takes her to his villa where he treats her.
That night itself she wakes up and starts being violent "where am I? Let me out".
"Oh you woke up, how are you feeling?" He asks in a friendly manner.
"Who are you? Let me out, I'm next, she is going to kill me" she screams very violently.
"Calm down. Take a deep breath, paus everything that has happened for now" he tries to make her calm.
"Hmm.." She calms down, takes a deep breath and feels better.
"Now tell me what happened?" He starts his question.
"I saw her, it was horrible, she was standing in front of me, long dark black hair, darkness and evil filled all around her" she tries to remember everything that happened.
"Who are you talking about?" He wonders.
She is scared and hesitates to tell the name but, she tried real hard and brought out the name "LUCY"
"What??" He is astonished by the reply he gets. He lets her go back to her home after knowing that he could get nothing more from her. He escorts her back to her home and the returns back to his home after a final check up for any clues in the place where Lucy was seen. He couldn't find anything so he return to his villa in fear after knowing that Lucy had come near to his home.
He sits on his chair and stares at a photo of a small girl hung up on the wall.
So the next day ends but this time not with the smell of bloodshed but the smell of absolute fear drifts through the air. Reassuring that Lucy will not stop hunting.
