The sound of pop music filled the air in the house. "Krystal please turn down your stereo." yelled a female voice. There was no response and no change in the volume of the music. "Please turn down your music, I can't here Mrs. Alexander" she yelled again.
"Sorry, Mrs. Alexander but my daughters brain is filled with all that junk she listens to." she said into the phone. "Don't worry I know how it is to own one of those kids." the lady said on the other end of the line. "So when are you going to be coming over. Because I have to take Krystal to the mall later. I was thinking I would come over around seven, maybe eight at the latest. That's perfect it also gives me enough time to set out the snacks. Alright, I have to go now. Bye." The conversation on the phone ended but a new one was about to begin.
Standing in front of her daughter's room Mrs. Hunter plugged her ears. The sound of music coming from inside the room, was causing her ear drums all most bust. Opening the door slowly she could already see her daughter dancing to the music. "Krystal dear you need to turn your music down."said her mother. In response the adolescent lowered the volume and turned to face her mother. "Happy now" Krystal said with a smile. "Are you ready to go to the mall?" her mother asked. "Yeah, just let me graph my purse" she said. "I'll be in the car when you come out." her mother said while walking out of the room. Krystal walked towards her bed to pick up her brown leather purse. In the corner of her eye she saw a blue light flash. Noticing it was per phone she checked to see what was going on.
Inputting her password for her phone she was beginning to walk downstairs. Quickly checking her Instagram to see all of her post. The little blue light kept on flashing until she decided to check who texting her. The first thing she saw was a text from her best friend. "Hey, Krystal its Laurie I was just wondering if you could come over to me house." it said. In reply Krystal sent back "Yeah, but I'll have to check with my mother. You know because my mom is having this party and she wants me to be there. Talk to you later." The flash on her phone kept on flashing, so getting tiered of the flash she checked to see another text. "Hello" it said but by a unknown number." Hi, may I ask who you are" she sent in response. "I must have text the wrong person, sorry about that." the person answered. "Oh, well have a good day" she sent. There was no further text sent.
In the car Krystal applied one of her ear buds in her right ear. She dare not place one in her other ear because, her mom wanted her to know all the details of her party. The drive to the mall was some not long. The cars one the road kept going which made it better. Arriving at the two story building they had a rough time finding a place to park their dark blue ford fusion. Finally parking the vehicle Krystal removed her ear bud and opened the passenger door. Her mother checked to see if she had all of her belongings, that see brought with her.
Entering through the metal doors, the first thing they both noticed was that there were tons of shoppers. Walking through the mall they stopped in three little stores. Krystal always loved going shopping with her mom. "Hey mom, what time does dad get off of work" Krystal said while looking at some t-shirts. "He get off at four. So I asked him to pick up some fruit and drinks" she said in response. Krystal nodded her head to jester that she heard her. Walking out of one of the thousands of clothing stores her phone flashed. Looking at the number of which the text came from, it was not familiar to her. It was not a new number but it was the same number as before.
Confused and a little scared Krystal kept walking right next to her mother. Her light on her phone would not stop flashing and her mother began to notice. "Krystal answer your phone" her mother said. Krystal didn't get a chance to reply to her mother for, she was already in another store. Pulling out her phone she retyped her password in. Already knowing that the number is not one she's seen before, she read the message. "Its time" the message said. Wondering who it is she replied back. "Who are you and time for what?" she said.
"You should tell me your friend's secrets" it said
"I don't know what you mean" she replied
"You know what I'm talking about and if you don't"it read
"And if I don't,what?" she said confusingly
"If you don't I'll...KILL them!...all of them." the message said
"Who" Krystal said
"All of your backstabbing friends of course" it saidKrystal stood in shock of what she just read. Hoping this was a joke she placed her phone in her pocket, after hearing her mom starting to walk back. "So who was trying to talk to you." her mom said after getting back. "It was no one." she said in response. Then her phone gave a buzz. "Well who ever it is must want to talk to you." her mother said while laughing. After pulling out her phone she turned around so her mom could not see the text. Her eyes widen with shock to see what was just sent to her. It was of a person with a mask on, holding a knife in one hand and one of her friend's head in the other. Under the picture of pure murder was a caption that read.
"This is what will happen to the rest of your friends so tick-tock...Krystal."
"How does this person know my name" she thought to herself. Before saying anything Krystal let out a scream. "Buzz" her phone went. Not wanting to answer it she did anyway. Another text had arrived. With her mother rushing to her she fainted after reading the last text that said.
"That's right, scream and see you at prom. Ha,ha,ha."
