With the sun shinning through her window Krystal attempted to open her eyes. "Wake up Krystal" said a female. Rising up like a zombie she turned to face her mother. "When did you guys get back?" Krystal asked while whipping her eyes. "Around two, get up you've got school." her mother said while opening her door. The sound of the door shutting made Krystal almost fall out of bed.
Walking to the bathroom she was thinking of her day. Thinking about how she had homework to do, and a funeral to go to. The thought of Laurie's funeral made Krystal start to cry. It also reminded her that she had to go to the Sweet House Café. Brushing her hair she took noticed of the sound outside. Moving to her parents room to look out the window. She saw the garbage truck outside of their house. Watching them she saw the box that made her lose her appetite last night.
After watching the box get crushed she could only image what the head looked like, now. "Krystal are you wake?" the question from her dad snapped her out of her thoughts. "Yeah" she replied. Walking down to her door she still felt tired and wanted to flop back onto her bed. Grabbing her cloths she saw on her desk a necklace that was given to her by Laurie. Along with a promise ring that was given to Laurie, too. She picked up the necklace and placed it around her neck and took the ring and placed on her middle figure.
Leaving the house she picked up a slice of toast her mom made. Grabbing her car keys she took off. Parking in her car, she spotted her friend Brittney. "Hey, Krystal." Brittney shouted. Krystal glanced at her hoping Brittney would then away. Walking towards the door Brittney walked up to her and Krystal picked up the pace. "Krystal wait up." she said. "I don't have time to talk." Krystal said while still walking away. "Hey, now that Laurie is gone. Maybe you and me could be better friends. Because that friend of yours didn't let us." Brittney said while catching up to her. "You listen here." Krystal said and turned to her. "I became friends with Laurie because you changed into someone I don't know. Plus Laurie was a better friend then you ever were. So you can just go drop dead." Krystal then turned away and walked away. Brittney didn't move because she felt betrayed.
In the hallway it was normal. The teens were themselves again and teachers still telling them to get to class. The day was short until getting to her theater class. "Alright ever one sit down." said Mr. Larsen. "Were going to picking partners for a project. The project is, you and your partner will pick a type of play and come up with the story. Then I'll decide which one we do." he finished. "Alright lets get to the library to do some research." the class got up and just left and picked partners on the way.
"Hey, Krystal want to be my partner." Brittney asked. Krystal did answer. "Come on you and me could get an A on this together." she said. Krystal turned to her and said. "I'm already partnered with someone." she said. "Oh really, who?" she said giving her a nasty look. "Isaac."she said while jumping over to him. "Right Isaac?" she said. Isaac turned and was a little shocked. "Yeah." he said.
In the library she didn't really do anything. Slap. The sound of a book made her move quickly. "Sorry." Isaac said. "Alright so what type of play should we make." Krystal didn't answer. "Okay how about a romance play." he said. Krystal answered "no". "How about a mystery play." he asked. "What type of mystery?" she replied. "How about a paranormal mystery." Krystal stared at him. "Okay, how about a murder mystery?" he asked. "With all the things going on around here. Your crazy." she said. "Exactly, its the time to do a murder mystery play." he said. "On another topic. Are you going to be at the Sweet House Café?" Krystal asked. "Yeah, everyone is going, well everyone in our little group." finishing up the bell rang.
Going to her class she saw the person who she meet yesterday. "Hey Tory." she said while going over to his locker. "Hi, Krystal isn't?" he said. "Yeah" she said while pulling back her brown hair. "I was thinking, would you like join me and a my friends at the Sweet House Café?" she asked. "Sorry I can't I have plans." he said while walking away.
The rest of the school was short and nothing happened. When the final bell rang she rent straight to her car and began to drive off when..."ding". The message was from her stalker. "Ready for our little meet up." it said. She didn't answer and then drove off towards the café.
At the café she stooped at the door and took a deep breath. Entering she heard "Krystal over here." shouted Isaac. She saw him and the rest of her friends. Krystal sat down with everyone else "I already ordered the drinks." said Brittney. "Well how is everyone" she asked. Before anyone could answer their drinks arrived. "Here you go." the waiter said. Krystal looked up and noticed the waiter. "Hey Tory" she said. "Hi Krystal" he said pulling back the silver plate. "I thought you said you couldn't come." she said. "I had to work" he replied. "Well let me I introduce you to my friends." then she continued.
"This is Jack, Tom, Isaac, Braden, Ashley, Tori, Kim, and her" Brittney then gave her a dirty look. "Well nice to meet you all and enjoy your drinks." he said and walked off. "Well cheers." Tori said. They all reached in for a drink and pulled back with it. "Whose all going to Josh and Laurie's funerals?" asked Tom. "I think all of us should go." Ashley said. "No, I didn't like Laurie." Brittney said and drank her coffee.
When the all finished up they began to get up. "Well, I got to go." said Kim. "Hey Jack, are you okay" asked Tori. "Yeah I'm fin..." before finishing. Crash! "Jack!" yelled Tori. All of Krystal's friends ran over to Josh (who dove into their table). Everyone else in the café looked over at them. "Tori check his pulse!" shouted Braden.
"I'm trying!" she said. "What do you mean your trying." said Ashley. "Some get a doctor." said Tom. "Did you find his pulse." said Isaac. "No, he doesn't have one. He's dead." everyone stared people were rushing over to them. Krystal stood there thinking about the text that was sent to her. She was suppose to meet the killer here. Then she realised that she already knew the killer...the killer was one of her friends.
