I didn't like it one bit.

It was starting to seem like Aisley was growing up so fast and I really did not like it. Harry didn't either. Isabella would laugh at us, telling us that we couldn't stop her from growing up no matter how hard we would try. Then she'd take one look at that baby girl, and she wouldn't be laughing anymore. She'd wish that Aisley would stop growing up too.

Aisley is about five months old now. She could sit up on her own and keep her head up as well. She did a lot of rolling over...especially when we would be changing her diaper. Aisley thinks it's funny when she does that. Sometimes I wonder if there are little bits of Harry in her cause there are some mannerisms that she does that I know Harry has done.

Even though she can't actually talk yet, we hear Aisley day "da da" a lot. I wasn't home the first time she said it; Harry was. And believe me when I said this, Harry was so overjoyed I think he nearly threw up from how happy he was...or at least that's what Isabella said in the text she had sent me when it had happened.

They say around 11 to 14 months is when babies actually say their first words. All that they say between now and then is just babbling...just don't tell Harry that. I'm not about to ruin the "Aisley said da da" moment. I mean, it's pretty close to saying "daddy" so don't ruin it for us.

Aisley does however wave hello and goodbye to us, which apparently is early for a baby...according to a website I was looking at anyway. It had said that a baby would/should be doing that anywhere between 7 months old and 12 months old. Maybe Aisely is just advanced or something.

As of right now Harry is just laying on the couch with Aisley laying on his chest. He kept his hands on her back so that she wouldn't roll off of him. In the case that Harry were to fall asleep and she rolled off him, we put pillows on the floor to cushion her fall. I was just sitting in the chair next to the couch, staring at my husband and daughter. Isabella was out getting us some lunch; Mr. Evans had the day off today.

Man I wish she would hurry back.

"Da da da da da," Aisley babbled.

I chuckled and so did Harry. Then she began to say it louder.

"Are you telling us a story, Princess?" Harry asked her as he carefully sat up; making her sit in his lap.

She scrunched her little face together and clapped a few times.

"Oooh and then what?" Harry asked, as if he could actually understand our babbling little girl.

I fucking love this dork.

Aisley continued to babble until a loud noise startled her. She began to cry and Harry tried to rock her to calm her, but it wasn't working.

"Cmon, baby girl. It's okay. Daddy's got you. Nothing is gonna hurt you," he told her.

But she continued to cry.

"Niall," Harry looked at me and frowned, "Sing to her? Please?"

So I got up from my chair and sat on the couch with them. Harry had slid Aisley into my arms just as I began to sing.
