I sighed in happiness as I drifted off into a sleep filled with flashbacks.
**FLASHBACK TO KINDERGARTEN**
It was 12:30! Finally! RECESS!! I started to run to the sandbox to go build castles with my friend. But I just remembered! She's not here today! I stopped running and looked down in disappointment. I clunked along to the sandbox to go build castles by myself.
As I built my 4th castle all alone, a boy came up to me. "Hi! I'm Shawn! Can I build with you?" I was surprised at first, and kind of grossed out because BOYS HAVE COOTIES! But I decided to let him play with me because it was better than being alone. We built the bestest castle EVERRR! When the teacher blew her whistle, Shawn said,"Can I build castles with you tomorrow?" "Yes!"
**FLASHBACK OVER**
I suddenly woke up and looked over at my husband, Shawn, who had been my best friend ever since we built our first sand castle together in kindergarten. And I smiled.
