My alarm just went off. I rolled out of bed after turning the stupid alarm off. I was not in a good mood. I recently went through a breakup, so yeah, I was not a happy person. I was depressed mess. So my brother, Jacob, decided to take me to the beach with his girlfriend, who I despise. Her name is Rachel (don't feel offended if your name is Rachel), and she goes out of her way to make me annoyed or offended. Jacob is literally clueless. When I try to tell him, he just says that we'll be bet friends sooner than I think. How can I be best friends with a snake??? Anyways, it's time to get ready.

I'm currently dressed in light wash ripped shorts, a lavender tank with three tribal print vertical stripes going down the middle and a white pom poms on the bottom (of course over my light gray bikini with a mint border), and white converse. I applied light makeup and put my hair half up and curled the ends. I grabbed my phone and my clutch/wallet just as Jacob called me downstairs so we can go get his amazing awesome girlfriend Rachel.

We finally arrived at the beach. Jacob and Rachel went one way, and I decided to not follow. I went to a little gift shop called "Shore Side Souvenirs" and looked around. About 15 minutes later, I went to go get some lunch.

I ordered half a sandwich and a salad that was a choose two thing and a large Dr Pepper. Once I got my food and sat down, I realized I forgot napkins. I went to go get some at the counter. Right as I turned to go back, I collided with someone. I quickly mumbled sorry before rushing back to my table. The person said, "Gosh! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" It was a boy. AND HE WAS HOTTTTTT. I just stared at him. I quickly got my crap together as I said,"Uhhh oh yeah! I'm fine, thanks." "Good. So what's your name, love?", the boy said. "Mya. Mya Andrews. What's your name?" "Shawn." "Cool. Do you wanna hang out?" "I would love to.", said Shawn. We ate lunch together, and walked down the beach together after we exchanged numbers. Jacob texted me around 2:30, and said it was time to go. I said goodbye to Shawn, and left.

I suddenly got a message from Shawn. It read: Shawn: I had fun today! I'll text you tomorrow, and we should go for lunch again sometime!
I texted back:
Mya: Me too, and we should! Talk to you then :)
2 Years Later
Mya's pov
Shawn and I started dating about three months after we met, and we're still together, going strong. I have never been in such an amazing relationship. And I have never been happier.
